@@robertstank fair enough, everyone has their own opinion but I think judo could probably at least try for the 2 star, when I mean lvl 1 troops I mean only troops and spells. So heroes could be any lvl and so could siege machines. But anyway I see where ur coming from and respect it

10:30 if you are going to use a rune of gold/elixir you can start an upgrade and stop it later, or if you're going to log off
this tip has also been used to cook up troops and refund them later
10:38 Yes, many times. Like when I use my builder and then like "oh, god, I need to do this". I miss it so much with the lab :P
I hope that one day I can get a decent job, and part of that money earned will be spent buying those packs and gold passes.

7:00 a lot of the upgrades are at lower level town halls for some reason, like the collectors have lvl 10 at th 6 but max lvl is like, 14 for the collectors
I'm only at TH7 so far, but I've found cancelling things to be occasionally useful. It's only when I make a mistake, obviously, but at these lower TH levels, cost can be pretty irrelevant when you farm and it's all about maximizing builder time. So if cancelling an upgrade to do something else will help you maximize your builders, it's good.
10:39 if you don't need a builder for traps because they don't take time then you shouldn't need a builder to apgrade walls

10:30 I have once cancelled an upgrade on my spell factory, because someone started a last-minute war and I didn't have a 2nd army prepared.
I once had a situation where I had to cancel several Upgrades: I farmed on my th 11 so much loot that I had done all my walls in 3 weeks (sneaky Goblins). Then I had always full storages and my builder needed 6 or more days to finish buildings. The result was in future seasons, that I couldn't fill up my season bank to 25 millions. I just destroyed gold and elixir with cancelling Upgrades that my storages were empty and I could farm my season bank.
I am excited for this series! I think it would be realistic to leave upgrades happening in the background, that's how most people spending money would be doing it.

Coz I started to upgrade the barracks but then realised that the cwl is coming and cc upgrade will give siege machines which is great help

Judo i have a question: if I have 45 limited edition obstacle will the other obstacles spawn in my village.
Limited edition obstacles count up to the 45 but will continue to spawn afterwards. Once you have 45 the regular obstacles will not spawn 👍🏻

Yes, as an F2P player I have stopped an upgrade. Mostly when I am upgrading a cheap bomb or something else cheap, I intend to stop the upgrade if I have full storages and no builders available. Thanks for the vid Judo, alongside the homework this work just fine (love the background music :D).

@10:32 yes judo i am a th8 trophy pusher and I do cancel upgrades to deplete my resources so people have less incentives to attack my base xD
Legends are those who Max their village from th 1 to 14 without spending a single penny😁
For passive buildings, like Army Camps, Storages, etc., Refunding doesn't have much benefit. But for Active buildings, such as Barracks, Collectors, or ESPECIALLY the Spell Factories, you may have to refund an upgrade to get back their functionality, such as cooking up spells to use in War.

I sometimes stop builds while they are upgrading for strategic purposes. If I'm going to bed, I will stop an upgrade (if I just started it) if there are only 3 hours left because I could upgrade something that will take 8 hours.

I have had a couple times on my rushed th14 account where canceling upgrades is useful, mainly when my storages are maxed (which is rare because I don’t attack much on that account) and I have something like an elixir collector upgrading

At th10 lvl I canceled a few upgrades to get 50% loot back. I had filled storages and maxed walls. Needed somewhere to put my loot so I could earn more resources in my season bank. To get me more resources in the long run, as opposed to what I lost. That's the only benefit i see in doing it.
In comparison, I believe just getting the five builders for a lot less money may then speed things up a bit that first week. May only take merely days to get to this point with five builders alone. Great vid!

I recently restarted. I spent maybe $40 and that included the battle pass. got me to a max town hall 7 in about 2 weeks. I played consistently everyday and currently upgrading to town hall 8.
To clarify, I bought the bundles that included the builder huts with an additional maybe $20

You should buy every town hall pack, they are very good value, and you save on those upgrades/buying resources.

I have stopped an upgrade before, but it was because I wasn't thinking right.
I was in the middle of a Clan War League when I decided I should upgrade BOTH of my heroes at once. I was TH 10, and I had low level heroes, so I wanted them to get a high level ASAP.

Judo is the only guy I know who doesn't get annoyed making more accounts again and again
A reason why people would cancel is if they accidently upgrade their townhall and they don't want to yet because they don't want to rush, or because they have a base that they keep at a certain townhall level like for example townhall two.
