Simple, because the Pharisees teachings came from their fathers. The Traditions shared by Orthodoxy and Catholicism are the unwritten teachings of the Apostles and their immediate successors, The Church Fathers who studied under them. These teachings come directly from Jesus Christ and Jesus himself said that the Church he founds will not be overcome by the gates of hades. The Bible itself makes it clear that not everything was written down and it doesn’t claim that it is the only authority on doctrine. Now if you’re wondering why The East and West split if they’re so similar the answer is twofold. Language and Papacy. The West predominantly spoke Latin, the East predominantly spoke Greek and this language barrier caused natural division which only increased with time. Then there’s the issue with the legitimacy of Papal Supremacy, which is the idea that the successor of Peter has universal pastoral authority over the whole church. The arguments for and against this go on for ages, so for the sake of brevity I’m just going to point you to Matthew 16:18. Any other theological differences are overshadowed by the real argument which is “does the pope have the authority to make a changes on doctrine?”. Most of the theological differences could probably be reconciled, while the papacy really can’t. Also there is the glaring difference that neither of these groups genuinely believe that they’re sinless or above sin. That’s pretty important too.
Also a Protestant calling them “eastern heterodox” is just hilarious. The Protestant Revolution is a machine that turns biblical teachings into heterodoxies. If you don’t want to be a part of an Apostolic Church that’s your choice and always has been, but don’t even think about theological grandstanding or even considering the possibility that you lot are biblical purists. The 5 Solas are already a substantial departure, let alone the innovations that came later from Baptists and Pentecostals.

as a Hebrew speaker it took time for me understanding that by "Pharisees" you mean Prushim (פרושים)
personally, i think that Jesus original teachings are close to the Prushim method. fe, they believed in the afterlife etc, not like the Tsdokim (צדוקים). Jesus himself said (Matthew 5)
"For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven."
or Matthew 23
"Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples: 2 “The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. 3 So you must be careful to do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. 4 They tie up heavy, cumbersome loads and put them on other people’s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them."
you could see that Jesus doesn't reject the Prushim teachings, he demanded his followers to be "more than the Prushim" and to practice what they teach.
you could see that the Prushim weren't hostile to Jesus flowers too:
check "acts of apostles 5":
"When they heard this, they were furious and wanted to put them to death. 34 But a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law, who was honored by all the people, stood up in the Sanhedrin and ordered that the men be put outside for a little while. 35 Then he addressed the Sanhedrin: “Men of Israel, consider carefully what you intend to do to these men. 36 Some time ago Theudas appeared, claiming to be somebody, and about four hundred men rallied to him. He was killed, all his followers were dispersed, and it all came to nothing. 37 After him, Judas the Galilean appeared in the days of the census and led a band of people in revolt. He too was killed, and all his followers were scattered. 38 Therefore, in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail. 39 But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God.”
40 His speech persuaded them. They called the apostles in and had them flogged. Then they ordered them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go"

Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which Jehovah of hosts had sent by his Spirit by the former prophets: therefore there came great wrath from Jehovah of hosts.
Nehemiah 9:7,13-14,20,26,29-30 ASV
Thou art Jehovah the God, who didst choose Abram, and broughtest him forth out of Ur of the Chaldees, and gavest him the name of Abraham, [13] Thou camest down also upon mount Sinai, and spakest with them from heaven, and gavest them right ordinances and true laws, good statutes and commandments, [14] and madest known unto them thy holy sabbath, and commandedst them commandments, and statutes, and a law, by Moses thy servant, [20] Thou gavest also thy good Spirit to instruct them, and withheldest not thy manna from their mouth, and gavest them water for their thirst. [26] Nevertheless they were disobedient, and rebelled against thee, and cast thy law behind their back, and slew thy prophets that testified against them to turn them again unto thee, and they wrought great provocations. [29] and testifiedst against them, that thou mightest bring them again unto thy law. Yet they dealt proudly, and hearkened not unto thy commandments, but sinned against thine ordinances (which if a man do, he shall live in them), and withdrew the shoulder, and hardened their neck, and would not hear. [30] Yet many years didst thou bear with them, and testifiedst against them by thy Spirit through thy prophets: yet would they not give ear: therefore gavest thou them into the hand of the peoples of the lands.
Deuteronomy 29:9,29 ASV
Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that ye may prosper in all that ye do. [29] The secret things belong unto Jehovah our God; but the things that are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.
Deuteronomy 30:11-14 ASV
For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not too hard for thee, neither is it far off. [12] It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, and make us to hear it, that we may do it? [13] Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, and make us to hear it, that we may do it? [14] But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.
Ecclesiastes 3:14 ASV
I know that,
WHATSOEVER GOD DOETH, IT SHALL BE FOR EVER:
nothing can be put to it, nor anything taken from it; and
God hath done it, that men should fear before him.
Deuteronomy 4:2 ASV
Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish from it, that ye may keep the commandments of Jehovah your God which I command you.

Deuteronomy 6:18,25 ASV
And thou shalt do that which is right and good in the sight of Jehovah; that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest go in and possess the good land which Jehovah sware unto thy fathers, [25] And it shall be righteousness unto us, if we observe to do all this commandment before Jehovah our God, as he hath commanded us.
Ezekiel 18:5,9 ASV
But if a man be just, and do that which is lawful and right, [9] hath walked in my statutes, and hath kept mine ordinances, to deal truly; he is just, he shall surely live, saith the Lord Jehovah.
Habakkuk 2:4 ASV
Behold, his soul is puffed up, it is not upright in him; but the righteous shall live by his faith.
Deuteronomy 32:45-47 ASV
And Moses made an end of speaking all these words to all Israel; [46] and he said unto them, Set your heart unto all the words which I testify unto you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, even all the words of this law. [47] For it is no vain thing for you; because it is your life, and through this thing ye shall prolong your days in the land, whither ye go over the Jordan to possess it.
Leviticus 18:4-5 ASV
Mine ordinances shall ye do, and my statutes shall ye keep, to walk therein: I am Jehovah your God. [5] Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and mine ordinances; which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am Jehovah.
