Based on your Lyran Commonwealth lore video I have come to the conclusion that the weakest Steiner scout 'Mech is the 55 ton Shadow Hawk 5S, which for a modest twelve and a quarter million C-bills gets you TAG and an active probe on a 330 XL engine and five jump jets, protected by ECM and 11.5 tons of armor, with a bare bones armament of five medium and one large laser supported by 13 double heat sinks for opportunity targets. It also comes with a built-in trunk for 500 kg of beer and pretzels, to sustain you on long patrols.
I have been playing the same game of MW5 for so long they added the option to start somewhere else since I started I might restart just because the new arenas are filled with locusts and urbanmechs, and while running around in a king crab or my gauss rifleman and opening them up is entertaining, it just doesn't seem sportsman like
did they do anything to fix the missions to be more even in tonnages, while somehow making them balanced still? like what i hated with it was that towards the end the mission tonnages go to like 300 tons for you total and 1200 tons for the mechs you need to take out, much worse in that regard than something like mw2: mercs
@@lasskinn474 no, you just need to get good and space them out, you have the superpower of being in charge of the lance and being an intelligent human being rather than an npc which balances most things out But max tonnage does reach 400 now in the off chance you have and want to feild 4 king crabs

I do hope you make more Battle Tech videos. There’s a lot to the lore that gets skipped by a lot of channels.
