I'm guessing this was recorded in the 1990s (edit: I see, copyright 1994). Other techniques are demonstrated by his senior students. The dojo is affiliated with the Aikido World Headquarters (Hombu Dojo) in Tokyo, Japan, through the Aikido Schools of Ueshiba organization. Ikeda Sensei's dojo is still located in Boulder Colorado: www.boulderaikikai.org/ He hold a high rank and his instruction is in high demand around the world. As a traditional instructional video - it may move along very slowly for some, but Sensei puts the elements together very nicely at the end.
