    Was the original problem that the heat from the header or exhaust was causing the fluid in the line or the cylinder to overheat, causing brake fade? Or are the stock cylinders just faulty? Thanks.

    • @NicovanderSteen
      @NicovanderSteen 3 года назад

      It's the heat that causes the problems.
      the stock cylinders are also brembo and just fine. But the placement and therefore the heat is causing issues.

    Now that you got the new brake line would you change it any way or are you happy with the length, offset, etc?

    wonder.. why don't you swap the position of the banjo and bleed nipple.. banjo go the lower point.. and bleed nipple swap to the higher place.. some1 recommended to do the swapping position as well..

    Hi Nico, good video on the rear brake problem, did replacing the master cylinder fix the problem? or did you find it still needs bleeding every now & then?

    • @NicovanderSteen
      @NicovanderSteen 7 лет назад

      Hi Pat,It still works, I did bleed it after mounting the new one. And after driving a season, it still brakes.
      there is only one thing.... I want to have it braking better. So after the winter I will put an other type/brand of oil in it. (with a higher dry braking point).I will put that in a new vid in a couple of months ( with the procedure how to bleed the rear brake.I'm thinking of also putting new brake pads on... current are 10 years old...

    Hee Nico,
    Ik heb een vraag over de lengte van de leiding.
    Is het 73cm exclusief de koppelingen? Of inclusief?
    Ik moet zeggen dat een hoop van jou filmpjes mij enorm veel geholpen hebben bij mijn eigen Tuono.
    Keep up the good work!!

    • @NicovanderSteen
      @NicovanderSteen 7 лет назад

      Hi Rommert, de lengte is inclusief banjo's (hart van de banjo's). Als ie iets korter is past het ook nog, maar heb je wat minder ruimte in het aanleggen van het traject.

      Tjee Bryan, je zet me wel aan het werk... haha
      heb even teruggezocht... ik had nog een factuur.....
      ik heb de remleiding gekocht bij SParks online. Maatgemaakt remleiding met 2 banjo's.
      Remleiding heb ik 73cm genomen, maar kan je makkelijk opmeten door er even een stuk touw voor te gebruiken.....
      Banjo's zijn M10
      ik had ze 90 graden van elkaar verdraaid.
      Succes met de Modify klus !
      Koekie met deze video denk ik...

    easier answer is to hang a weight on the brake pedal when not using it, I put 7 lb weight on it and it works, never have to bleed it and the rear brake is perfect on the standard cylinder, saves all the greif of doing this,
