    More than a void Mikael, Opeth would leave more than a void. You're one of the most amazing, unique, prolific and consistent bands that have ever existed in Metal. You'll be always remembered and deeply missed the day you stop. Never ever doubt that.

    I'm 21 from Kuwait and I just want to sincerely say that Opeth means a lot to me. All my inspiration, ideas, creativity comes from the blissful sound of Opeth. When I first heard them, it wasn't easy to get into, but I heard Orchid and gave it more than one try, then I suddenly got attached to the album and specifically "In Mist She was Standing", I have became a solid Opeth fanatic ever since, and I love them before and after, I seriously am forever grateful and I wish Mikael would never stop making music. Thank you deeply Opeth.

    "This might be our last album."

    It’s interesting to me that Mikael talks about loneliness.
    I was listening to this album earlier today and part of the way through experiencing it I thought, "This music is taking me to a place where aloneness isn’t lonely. I’m in a place of beautiful, peaceful solitude."
    It’s unusual that current/modern music is able to transport me like that. So I appreciate that extra level to the music. It’s an album that I can become very immersed in. Wonderful experience. 🖤

    I get, and agree, that the music is the core and the most important part of the album, but the title is important too. Having something that matches the record thematically adds so much to it. It'd be a bummer if the title was something stupid.
    Also, people keep getting confused by his "last record" comments. He just means that he's approaching every record _as if_ it were the last, so that he doesn't get complacent. Very good mindset to be in.

    I dont know, while I love EVERYTHING opeth puts out, I have to say their peak was deliverance/damnation. Not so big on this very proggy direction these last few albums. Incomparable musicians however.

  • @GrimeReaperMan
    @GrimeReaperMan 5 лет назад

    I mean I already forgot the name of the album unless I see it being written like here in this video. He's right, it's not catchy at all. It's just because he wanted a Latin title which sounded cool to him is because why he chose it, otherwise hardly anyone else will remember, least of all the fact that it's not in English which is the current language of the world! So all in all not the best of choices when it comes to naming your album!
