***** In Washington, where Kentridge is located, the main theater in Seattle does a tony award type show for all the high schools in the state who apply called The 5th Avenue High School Musical Awards and Eli, who played Robbie, won Best Actor!
I absolutely love Sammy in this production! I've got to say, the males in this cast can certainly throw some shapes! Hats off to Robbie and Holly also👍🏼 We are doing this musical next year in the first week of March for three nights only and I'm privileged to be playing the part of Holly😊 It's definitely one of my favourite musicals.
the show is fantastic!!!! I am obsessed with Robbie omg and Holly!!!! Though I am not the biggest fan of Julia's vocals, her acting is great!!!! Also great ensemble!!!!!!
Right, in “Pop!” when Holly jumped from behind the table and began singing again, I just got up and began to dance! The woman who plays Holly in this version of the show is incredible! She’s such an amazing singer and dancer. All that “Pop!” missed was some confetti! But it was such a good idea from the choreographers who decided to have Holly jump from behind the table!
My school is doing The Wedding Singer in March. My audition is tomorrow (Im going for Sammy). Wish me the best of luck ! This school did a great production of The Wedding SInger
For this production, I think that the whole cast of players are pretty talented. Especially, Eli, Sarah, Josh, Nolan, Brielle, Carter, Maria, Amy, and Gabi. All in all, a pretty good show.
I love this musical and I think everyone did a bang up job! It's a high school production, be nice dangit! They totally made me laugh when I supposed to laugh and it was really well done. :) I was looking for bootleg of the broadway show and found this and I'm just as happy as if I found the real thing. Much Love to Kentridge High from..... 5 years ago lol
Holy cow your Holly was so freaking amazing hitting those notes and dancing like crazy! This was a very well done production and Robbie was fabulous too! Great job!
Eli, Josh, Brielle, and Carter also do a GREAT job in the Kentridge Production of Godspell. I Highly recommend it. But, Both the Godspell and The Wedding Singer casts are GREAT.
Band were bloody stellar in this, used it as a reference to model a mainstage setlist and am kinda sad the full band weren't credited! Awesome production though, smashed it!
Yo, that sleeping bag has 2012 Leonardo from the Ninja Turtles on it instead of a 1980’s version. And guess what? The first TMNT cartoon didn’t start to air until 1987 and this play is set in 1985. Whoopsie Poopsie.
great vocals and choreography! I was not a fan of the acting at times they didn't seem to appreciate the comedic timing or no what they were saying....
I love this show so much. We’re gonna do it in February and auditions are tomorrow, I’m hopping for George. I only have one critique of their show, please give mic the ensemble, they are getting pushed aside when they are a crucial part of the show.
Very lackluster in the lighting department. “Eh, this ones called ‘all about the green, so let’s have green lighting... and that’s it...” Step it up. Sound is pretty tight, but it seems half of the booth has nitrous oxide being pumped into it.
Also, don’t fuck with where you put the pit. Why have the pit on stage for the band numbers and offstage for everything else? I get that it makes more sense continuity wise, as in, you’re hearing a saxophone and there’s a saxophone on stage, however, this creates unnecessary commotion when the actor are bustling around by the pit orchestra people trying to get.. you know... to the pit.
Please tell your actors not to stare at the audience when they’re singing. In “Come Out Of The Dumpster,” Julia addresses the audience when she says “so you’re back in the dumpster.” I feel insulted.
I’m sorry but that is SOOOOO wrong I have seen so many versions and she is by far the best one! She can dance, she can act and she can sing what more do u want??

thankyou for telling me that, that makes me so happy :P wish we had stuff like that in the UK!
Congratulations to Eli. He definitely deserved it.
I was wondering where Kentridge High School was located. Thank You; that's good to know.
The girl playing Holly is so beautiful and such a talented dancer!!!

Came here to see high school students sing ‘somebody kill me’. Was not disappointed.
the show is fantastic!!!! I am obsessed with Robbie omg and Holly!!!! Though I am not the biggest fan of Julia's vocals, her acting is great!!!! Also great ensemble!!!!!!
I love the person who plays holly!
These kids did a great job with this. I really enjoyed it, as a major fan of the movie who didn’t know about the musical until YESTERDAY!
Right, in “Pop!” when Holly jumped from behind the table and began singing again, I just got up and began to dance! The woman who plays Holly in this version of the show is incredible! yeah buy we all know which holly you prefer *aka me*
Doing The Wedding Singer this year for our high school musical :) I'm honored to be playing the part of Julia!
I played George in this show in 2012. SUCH a fun time.
Seth Hannan oml you played the best character
What was it like behind the scenes?
My school is doing The Wedding Singer in March. My audition is tomorrow (Im going for Sammy). Wish me the best of luck ! This school did a great production of The Wedding SInger
SgtDax428 Sweet man, I actually got the part of Sammy. We go on in less than a week
thepanda973 Have fun with it man, we did the show last month and it was a blast, have fun playing Sammy as i did
I'm doing this at my high school, and I'm Holly!
The BAND!!!!!! Fantastic job by the band!
We are doing this musical I'm so excited
My high school is doing this and I'm auditioning for Holly in three days! I'm so excited!
Robbie, Sammy, and George are absolutely amazing. All of them had such great character!!
Saw a college do this, and you guys rivaled their performance, I am really impressed. Good voices from all and plenty of great music from the band.
My school is doing this performance soo excited
How was it?
Just did this for my school, musical It was amazing and I am In love with this show such a fun show and such an awesome production!!
For this production, I think that the whole cast of players are pretty talented. Especially, Eli, Sarah, Josh, Nolan, Brielle, Carter, Maria, Amy, and Gabi. All in all, a pretty good show.
Watching this for my upcoming audition on Thursday afternoon, my school is doing this musical again :)
I'm Auditioning for Rosie (Grandma)
Linda totally missed the character. in her first appearance there is so much more to play with there and she missed the whole comedic bit.
This is my school musical this year im so excited and just by seeing this I can tell its gonna be awesome!!
Low key in love with Robbie!
what an insanely talented cast
"Sam plays van halen licks". Is on base. Noice, 10/10 makes perfect sense.
ghostman263 thats how ot was in the musical
this is incredible
I did this musical and I won Best Production
Also I watched it and this was my last Grade School play.
My school is preforming this year! great job!
I just got the Grandma role in this play at our school. I'm so excited!
Amazing Performance Everybody! I love it! :)
this was so good! I'm doing this show in less than two weeks!! so keen!
Holy cow your Holly was so freaking amazing hitting those notes and dancing like crazy! This was a very well done production and Robbie was fabulous too! Great job!
I'm very impressed with this Sammy! Amazing!
in my sisters highschool play, Linda was a rocker kinda girl and she moved all over the stage which made the wedding scene really good
Brianna Jones yea, the girl who played linda at my school was named kirkland and she did amazing (she was a rocker girl too)
Same
i'm performing as linda in a couple days and that's the vibe we're going for too.
Eli, Josh, Brielle, and Carter also do a GREAT job in the Kentridge Production of Godspell. I Highly recommend it. But, Both the Godspell and The Wedding Singer casts are GREAT.
Robbie is an amazing actor. Holly was perfect. Julia seemed a bit pitchy while Linda had no emotion and lacked acting skills in my opinion.
Constructive criticism can be good. But let's be nice. These are teenagers and people.
impressive choreography for it being a high school
2:12:49 is my favorite song in this production!
so excited to perform this next month
The kid who played Robbie is good!!!! Well done
I'm doing this musical in my school! It's awesome! :)
Working on this for a local production. This makes a good reference thanks!
Awesome!!!
this is such a strong cast i love it
I was a techie on this show with my youth group
fabulous
Our school in Australia is doing a version of this in either June or July.
Eli is amazing!!!
Love the performance but.... Did the person that played Linda have any prior experience with acting... Or singing?
Hi Liverpool College kids!!!

HOLLY STOLE THE SHOWWWWW
I What to See this Show
The grandma is my cousin
Band were bloody stellar in this, used it as a reference to model a mainstage setlist and am kinda sad the full band weren't credited! Awesome production though, smashed it!
Can anyone tell me where I can find Billy Idol?
this julia is really really draining. quite flat aswell. doesnt have much stage presence
We're doing this is school next year - looking for inspiration 😂😂
We're doing a production of this in May at my high school, auditions in 2 weeks. Any tips for a George auditionee?
Yo, that sleeping bag has 2012 Leonardo from the Ninja Turtles on it instead of a 1980’s version. And guess what? The first TMNT cartoon didn’t start to air until 1987 and this play is set in 1985. Whoopsie Poopsie.
I love Sammy!!!
great vocals and choreography! I was not a fan of the acting at times they didn't seem to appreciate the comedic timing or no what they were saying....
Dam Robbie is definitely majoring in acting or vocal performance
Intermission finishes at 1:14:10
Ur welcome 😁
I love this show so much. We’re gonna do it in February and auditions are tomorrow, I’m hopping for George.
I only have one critique of their show, please give mic the ensemble, they are getting pushed aside when they are a crucial part of the show.
Any advice on auditioning for holly PLZ
Choose a "pop" feel kind of song to get the sound that your director might want in Saturday Night and just have fun with it :)
Props to the clarinet player at 52:44. That’s a tricky part to play. I have do play it on soprano sax for my show
what is the metal thing called does anyone know?
holly killed it
The opening choreography is the same opening choreography from the original Broadway musical.
1:34:39 1:34:55 is the guy wearing an MJ shirt lol?
1:27:37 (just saving my place :))
i'm saving my place sorry 25:00
Whoever was in charge of the music called the first song far too fast. I don’t blame the actors at all for not being able to hit their poses on time.
32:07 should be a good meme

I kinda think the lead did somebody kill me please better then sandler did in the movie
Lol sorry personal marker 47:00
I enjoy the movie better:-)
Julia has a really weird way of singing it’s like flat and held back
the beginning of someday was wrong
ok honestly y is the ensemble better than the leads? lol
Imawizarrd lol hahahaha
I`m sorry but that Holly is sooooooooooo off character (and plain), and so is George.
Robbie is very good though
Tabris Fru Lar hey fuck u
I’m sorry but that is SOOOOO wrong I have seen so many versions and she is by far the best one! She can dance, she can act and she can sing what more do u want??
jeez everyone sucks at singing, we are doing this for our musical and maybe their dancing is better but our singing is so much better than this
Soo bad!
holly cant belt
aj yay she doesn’t need to it’s a high school production
