Time Lapse - Sloth Cake

This is a time lapse video of a sloth cake being decorated. The cake is cookies and cream flavoured. The sloth head is cookies and cream and vanilla flavoured cake pop.
It's that time of year again. Mystery Leg's birthday! She is a lover of all things sloth. So this year I decided to put onto her cake. The claws are made out of fondant. The rest of the cake is iced with chocolate and vanilla buttercream.

What did you use for the face? Is it royal icing?

I used a black buttercream. I use cocoa powder to make a dark brown colour and then used black food gel to get it black.
