This format reminds me of Esoro. His guides were absolutely wonderful, detailed and made every build feel so unique and wonderful. One of the best videos in PoE guides community. Lol, the entire video is built up like an Esoro guide video - there isn't just inspiration. Which is totally fine, Esoro builds were always an absolute treat but this definitely already takes a lot from Esoro. The ranking in the introduction, the dedicated sections to scaling defenses and damage, the upgrade path showcase and the entire layout is veeery similar. Still, since Esoro isn't doing builds anymore it is great that someone picks this up in a similar format - one of the best build videos I have seen in a long while.
yea we 100% just watched a ton of old Esoro guides and wrote what we liked since his format was so great. We hope to improve on this with some feedback for future guides
@@TripolarBear Another guy that had an excellent guide format was Navandis Gaming. His gearing section format was excellent, laying out all the helpful mods for each slot that you would want and having budget, mid tier and high end choices for each. He even gives a list of useful leveling uniques. Perfect for complete nubs. I was never able to get into PoE until I found his Soulwrest Necro build. To this day it's still one of my favorite builds I've ever played in an ARPG. I league started one of your shield crash builds a year ago and had great success with it. You make peak content.
Excellent guide all around, TP. You are by far my fav PoE blaster; you have the best sense of humor out of the whole bunch. Even if I am not personally interested in a specific build I’ll still watch the vid just for the jokes. Slay on!
As a new PoE enjoyer (60 hours total playtime), this build is pretty straight forward and easy to follow! I really enjoy the tips, and what you say verbally in the video is very important in accordance to what you show on screen. My one critique is for the Leveling portion of the video for the skill gem break-down. As a brand new player I had to use some good old fashioned logic to understand that the number next to the skill gem determined the level at which you could purchase the skill gem. In my opinion, it would be preferable to see what level AND specific vendor sells the skill gem that is recommended for the build, and if they don’t sell it when I go to purchase it, then I could do some research to meet those requirements. This is super subjective and I know would take you more time to implement on screen, but it might help other newer players. Thanks again for the video!
I played this 3.23. From the perspective of someone who only plays one char and stops after completing the atlas: I found the use of 5 uniques killed a bit of the gearing progression fun I usually have. You have less regular small incremental upgrades and less finding gear yourself. This is definitely a very good build, but it feels like a jumping board to get as fast as possible into a second endgame character - if that is what you seek.
@@fagnerferonato yes. You can refund the entire talent tree with your refund points. Ascendency nodes cost 6 refund points per, though. If you are out of refund points, you can purchase/farm more by using orb of regret.
Thank a lot for this build! Nice DoT that feels very dynamic and fun to play. Just changed to KB and got rather subpar gear, but I like off-screen clearing. A lot. Only hard part during levelling was about keeping intelligence and dexterity up to required level for gems.
Played it as a late league start (8 weeks in) and had a blast (even managed to add a Mageblood and Progenesis in last week). Got me higher than before (granted, last time I played was synth league) all while having fun! Will play again as starter as it's just awesome for all the mapping things and get stuff/currency for a second character.
By far the best build I have ever played in my time playing POE over the years. Thank you and whoever else was involved in bringing this build to fruition. Not the greatest league, but this is the most fun I've had in any league and it's pretty much because I found this build lol. Thank you!
which guide is more updated?? Because on maxroll there are tons of differences compared to POB guide i always get very confused by this, last league too

looks like a good league starter to finally get back into PoE i. Previous 2-3 leagues i couldn't bring myself from sticking around. Hopefully this will be different with all the changes.

I’m doing this build rn, have two questions: 1. What pt in the acts is the transition from axe wielder to wand boi? I’m on act 7 atm and feel somewhat confident with my gear but can’t tell…plus the orbs of regret are extremely expensive so I can’t mess it up. 2. Likewise, for leveling at the end of the acts, are we supposed to be respeccing the whole time from the axe build in that case?
How tf are you counting 15? My napkin math is at 3 from Scarabs (you want to run extra sergeants), 1 from kirac, 1.3 from atlast tree. That is 5, maybe 6.

With the new "winged"-rarity legion scarab (called, "Legion Scarab of Eternal Conflict"), you can break an enemy from stasis *multiple* times. Combined with 100% chance from atlas, 3 normal legion scarabs, map device scarab, you spawn in a minimum of 5 legions. With the atlas passive to extend stasis duration AND increases damage to enemies in stasis ("Protracted Battle" notable), CF can easily release all enemies from stasis two to four times as you increase your dps. This means every single legion monolith will create 1-4 legion encounters worth of enemies. So 5 monoliths, releasing 3x enemies, = 15 effective legion encounters.
Gonna have to give this a shot. Tried out Lightning Arrow for the first time this League and while I can see why it's so popular, it's way too fragile for my taste.
Hi! I'm newer to POE but am wanting to transition to this build, so looking at the end game gear. The crafting guide shows a craft of an imbued wand that requires 188 intelligence, and even on trade the only ones that exist with most of the mods have the same requirement, but POB only shows 125 intelligence. Am I missing something or will you need INT nodes/lots of int rolls to use an imbued wand?

I have issues swapping from lifetap to empower on corrupting fever. What do u do when it doesn't trigger adrenaline. And what do u recommend as a currency strat for this build
At 15 min, isn't the gem setup impossible with a Saffel's Frame? I have my aura's on it, but since it can only have 3 sockets I can't fit in the banner from Uber lab
How do you do the trade displayed at 5 min? When I try I only get trash back. I try to vendor: Rare jade hatchet Rustic Sash Blacksmith's Wetstone I figured it out. You need to use a magic or rarer rustic sash as well as a normal rarity two handed axe. That worked for me.
"Who needs karst and gianna to disarm lasers and thaumaturgy traps, I will just waltz through them" kind of tanky. "I can afford wave 30 Kosis fireball spam" kind of tanky. Not the "I will chill in the deatomization storm while Sirus whines about how Zana cockblocked him" kind of tanky, though. Basically, the only time you will get oneshotted is when you refresh CF buff at the wrong time. DPS is tough though

To just clear atlas (with probably a few deaths along the way), the POB "CF Swap" gear and tree will get you there. Around 1.5m dps. To make it comfortable, you need a bit more defense and levels (around 80). So about halfway through the POB's "CF Swap" and "Midgame" gear. Once you full get "midgame gear" and get around 40-50% chaos res, poet's pen, t16s alch n go with legion/expedition will be extremely easy. which is where the build reallllly shines. A few more upgrades towards "endgame" gear then you can do 60% deli farming. And once you get fourth vow/divine flesh, 80% deli.
@@originalsh4rpie372Thanks was considering going lightning strike champ to start as you only need like two ichimonjis( swap to crit later after atlas complete and some currency for a good claw) and you can get your atlas completed for the most part but now im not sure ... cf seems to be faster and similar dmg as the non crit variant of ls.

@@ConvoyD2 The principal node is tied to the divinity but the number influence the other nodes in the area. Try to look up how to use PoB to search for the perfect Timeless jewel
Any tips how to solve mana problems in early campaign? I'd like to run with 2 quicksilver flasks, but without 2 mana flasks it's getting pretty starvy on mobile bosses... Lifetap would have to be linked to both leap slam and spectral throw so that's pretty harsh, clarity from Siosa is my best bet, any other?

This is the perfect build to farm nimis with and transition into splitting steel champ, Which can hit up to 80mil dps with good gearing

Check to make sure you don’t have those auras in heavily linked slots as this increases the mana cost of each aura

Use dex and int on passive tree and get dex and strength on amulet ,ring and helmet

Always follow the guide to the limit. Find a number as close as possible to the POB in your price range

Why no replica dragonfangs as amulet?
Last league replica dragonfangs for CF was not cheap for a long time
