Resources provided by Rishi- Guys Please comment- "Thanks Rishi" for his efforts.🙌 Here are all the points and important information related to PGEE - To get admission into the M.Tech programme at IIIT Hyderabad you have to attempt PGEE which is an independent exam and no GATE score is required for the admission process. PGEE has 2 sections - 1. Aptitude 2. Technical The aptitude part consists of topics from Arithmetic aptitude, Logical reasoning, verbal and non-verbal reasoning, data interpretation, basic mathematics ( probability and PnC ) and other topics which we prepare for GATE aptitude. The difficulty level of aptitude in PGEE is tougher than GATE aptitude and you need to practice enough questions to get a hold of the questions. Talking about the technical part of the exam, it is comparatively easier than GATE and solving the previous year GATE questions will do. The technical subjects asked are - 1. Discrete Mathematics 2. C programming 3. Data Structures 4. Algorithms 5. Computer Networks 6. DBMS 7. Operating Systems 8. Digital Logic Overall the exam is time based and your speed will matter. You will be provided a scientific virtual calculator and once the aptitude section is over ( after 1.5 hrs ) your interface will skip to the technical part and you won't be able to move back. Talking about the resources that I followed while preparing for PGEE - 1. IndiaBix website to solve aptitude questions 2. Arun Sharma's CAT books ( level of difficulty 0 and 1 ) 3. GATE PYQs of all branches for aptitude 4. GATE PYQs CS & IT for technical ( 1 mark question ) Overall try to solve questions with a timer since time is an important factor in this exam. I will answer any other queries you guys might have. All the best! ✌🏻
Helllo Sir, I have got 60 marks in Gate CSE afternoon sessoin, My predicted score is about 700. I want to do MTech in CSE or AI only, which IITs/NITs can I target ? Please guide.

I would like to know about the eligibility criteria.. In the website its mentioned btech any branch for both CSE and CSIS. Could you please confirm if non IT btech students are also eligible for CSE or CSIS
No, the programmes offered are - Mtech in CSE [ Computer Science and Engineering ] Mtech in CSIS [ Computer Science and Information Security ] Both these programmes have the same subjects in the first semester. CSE students are allowed to select all 4 subjects as open electives while CSIS students have 2 subjects fixed as security subjects and 2 open electives from second semester onwards. It depends upon your interest of the domain you want to pursue and your preference while filling the form.
I have completed my 3 year graduation in Mathematics, Now I have cracked jam and getting admission for msc in mathematics and computing in IIT. I want to know; may I get admission in MTech cse branch after cracking gate exam or I will get admission in other branches because I am a mathematics student only?
2023 was the first time IIIT Hyderabad released its cutoff scores so we do not have any idea related to the cutoffs. It totally depends upon the number of applicants and the difficulty of the exam. This year the cutoff was 57 and seats got closed at 64 for CSE and 63 for CSIS. I would say targetting 70+ marks is a safe score but it is just a guess based on 2023's cutoff.
