Being from the southern US conditions like this are not really a thing. I've ended up in them a couple of times in my RV. Made it through OK but lacking the experience of living where its common I was not very comfortable :) I live in Western Washington state now and while we have snow its rarely this bad unless you get up in to the mountains.
Yep! I made it home for the holidays! I had to drive 6 hours back with the bad transmission and no reverse! Had the original transmission rebuilt all good now 👍 Apologies for the late reply and thanks for watching!!
I always find just the other side of Napanee to Trenton (especially Deseronto) is like the Bermuda Triangle of the 401 - never know hat your going to get because Kingston to Napanee could be beautiful then bang the road is terrible. That storm was brutal everywhere though! Think I saw the sign Cornwall - I always feel bad for everyone from Gananoque east - usually thigs hit Kingston, jump us then touch down around Gan and eastward. Hope your heater smartens up - at least it's spring. What's with the transmission? Really discouraging news.
They do seem to get it bad on that end of Ontario, just like this year, although we are all getting a taste of winter now! I thought I replied to this comment and Its been about a year 😅but the van lost reverse and the transmission started slipping badly while I was on the road. I made it home thankfully by being real easy on it and being careful where I parked, but ultimately ended up getting the transmission rebuilt by a shop, there was a few issues that came up and it dragged on for months so I never made a video about it, but feel I should have, my warranty expires next month so maybe I will make a video telling of the experience then but its definitely something I would rather forget 😅
