Personally, me and my friends dropped siege probably half a year ago after enjoying the game since year 2. The game just got repetitive and toxic to a point where I didn’t end up enjoying any of it. Maps rarely came out and when they did, they were shit. Then the map reworks all ended up being cool, but not good in ranked which was annoying. Then to make it worse, every single ranked game I would que into, I would get villa because everything else would get banned. The game sadly just died but it had a legendary run and will forever be one of my favorite games ever.
It's hard to admit but very true, siege made some wrong turns and if the ending of R6 is anytime soon it's not gonna be the good ending.
Im afraid to admit it but yes after playing siege for a solid 3 years it had got repetitive not the game nearly as much as the players but i believe that i speak for everyone when i say siege needs better maps guns and players

There's really nothing to make content with bc it's the same thing over and over again and with the new patches and updates just bring more glitches which makes the game less enjoyable to play

imo it's not so much going in a bad direction, as much as just not... going. like the game itself is good, most changes are good, but there's just not enough, it's just too slow. I'll still play because nothing else hits the same to me, but yeah it's getting stale

Definitely I stopped playing 5 months ago because of no new weapons no new anything Ubisoft has clearly stopped caring about the community and game
The old times were so awesome on this game, but the entire atmosphere that came with the game in the old days is just gone
The old days of rainbow is great there nothing new I started getting bored I wish one day something new happens and I will still have this doc skin on so it can remind me of rainbow
As someone who has played from the very first day which is roughly 6 years i completely agree 100%. Game is just far too hard to enjoy these days and it is sad because the game still has a lot more in the tank. I think the new direction has been awful with this game and hopefully changes for year 7 beyond
Yeah this game was meant to be a realistic shooter but now that their getting rid of bullet holes and making body’s disappear after a while their edging closer and closer to the casual generic shooters everywhere else

You know, Marley is 100% correct. I picked up Siege for $12 during the first Rainbow is Magic event and I instantly fell in love with the game. I LOVED it's complexity... from the destructible environments, to the maps, to the unique operators, to the gunplay. While I was dying constantly I stuck with the game because it loved it that much. Sadly, I watched this game go downhill and it makes me sad. My brother (who introduced me to siege) stopped playing and warned me Ubisoft would ruin the game just like they did with For Honor and I laughed at him. I thought Ubi was great and knew what they were doing. Well, these last couple of updates just prove he was right. I find myself playing Siege less and less and it no longer has that spark it once had, now a chore to play. Soon this game will end up being a COD Search and Destroy wannabe because Ubi is ruining it update by update. But, I knew it was going to happen sooner or later. Nothing good lasts forever and life just hasn't been the same since the pandemic. Thank you Siege for all the wonderful years and once the trash Gameplay After Death reaches the live build I think it's time to say goodbye. :(
U right man. I've been playing since White Noise and loved the game so damn much. Stopped playing Siege yesterday, first time decided to delete the game after 3200 priceless hours and its so painful to me. RIP Siege
