He will have to put wider back fenders on the bug.I did that in 1980.The kit was called a scorpion kit.All 4 fenders was flared

Question for you. Can a pre 68 sliding sunroof be fit into a post 68 without major bodywork? Are the roof lines the same? I know the windshields change over the years, not sure about the area between the windshield and rear glass.
Thanks man! And replacing a sunroof is a massive undertaking, even with the proper skillset. The dome pitch is the same for all years. Some people fiberglass them in, so thats do-able, too!
