I swear you are my hero You have saved me a million times. Like everything I search you come up with a video You are in my prayers and I guess in every student's out there. God bless you!!❤
Hey, I appreciate this so much, I'm taking calculus right now and my professor makes Derivatives seem so much more difficult than they should be. Very informative video and straight to the point.
having dyslexia, its important for me to revise my lessons every week if i want to learn them. this is one hour before my exam, im revising all my topics, and this is honestly saving my life
im in AP pre-calc and this helps so much since my teacher never really teaches the basics to those who are new to this so i just kinda get thrown into a lot of things i don't know, but this helps A LOT thank you
Professor Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for a short and sweet video/lecture on How to Find the Derivative of a Fraction in Calculus One. This is an error free video/lecture on RUclips TV with the Organic Chemistry Tutor.
When he talks about the quotient rule, and you find yourself still having issues remembering it like I used to, use this mnemonic: Low "D" of hi, minus hi "D" of low, square the bottom, and away you go. The "D" meaning derivative.
Awesome video. I was using the quotient rule the wrong way and your video helped clear that up. Appreciate awesome human beings like you who take the time out to help others!!!
Really needed because most of the examples of aome textbook is all fractions amd it explains gibberish and im confused. Thank you so much for covering this.
Thank you so much!!! Can you do some Calculus 3/Discrete Mathematics videos? Your videos are fantastic! You have a way of teaching that is so easy to understand!
d/dx is the notation for just taking a derivative with respect to x. dy/dy means you are taking the derivative of a function y with respect to x. For example, if you took the derivative of y=x^2, then dy/dx=2x. You took a derivative of y with respect to x. So the two notations both mean "derivative" but are used in different scenarios. Hope that helps!

just wanted to say thanks for getting me through college calculus!! you're saving my life!!!
close to tears with frustration- so simple when you explained it! thanks so much!
This made it so much easier to conceptualize. Unbelieveable.
you're literally 10 of my math teacher combined.
You explain it so simply that it's unbelivable. Thank you for your service.

If you want more practice, I just uploaded a video where I solve exercises such as the last one (f/g), step by step. It might help some of you :)
thank you for creating this channel
Thanks so much. My textbook and professor weren't making sense to me. You made this super simple and easy for me to understand.
I needed this for calculating instantaneous velocity
you know , i kinda like your voice haha when im listening to it, even though your not singing. Thank for the tutorials
1.09 why did you move constant to front instead of differentiating it ?
plz some one answer it !!!
11:01 -7√x/2x would be the final answer if you rationalize the denominator, right?
Nice explanation, really helped.
this video saved my exam thanks man
for 6:50 why is the derivative not -3.5/x^3/2?
I mean 8:50
this is the comment i was looking for, I think that's a mistake, since we should add both negative exponents
actually it was right! lol
it seems we both got confused by the same "mistake". It was our brains 😂
-3.5 converted into a fraction is -7/2
thank you so much you are a live saver friend
Thank you...why couldn't our professors do this???????? make math look easy???
Minute 11:39, could you have raised the denominator to -1 power and then used the product rule and chain rule?
(3x+5)/(x^2+7) = (3x+5)(x^2+7)^-1. Yes, you can do that.
Love your channel man
I finally got it thank you sooooo much
It helped me alot thank you so much
just me who loves this guy's voice?
yes

Thank you, this really helped me!

@14:33 u can actually find the factors
what are they?
U can use Discrimination method where you do

How do you find the derivative of a rational function with exponents in both the numerator and the denominator?
Thanks a ton
what is the derivative of d/dt(6(1/2)²)
What is 5÷x+3
Can we make donations?
Nice... 👍👍👍👍 thank you.
Is d/dx the same as dy/dx?
It's confusing when I'm watching slightly different stuff to what I was taught in school, didn't do d/dx, just dy/dx
ugh there's nobody else covering dy/dx for the fractions I need
why do so many people do stuff on d/dx, I never did that in school
d/dx is the notation for just taking a derivative with respect to x. dy/dy means you are taking the derivative of a function y with respect to x. at 10:06 it should be 3.5x^-1.5/2 not 7
No, it's correct. -7/(2x^(3/2))
Do you have any videos on solving quadratic equations not equal to zero?
just subtract whatever the equation equals to on both sides so it does = 0
Thank u soo much!!!
What I want to know is how on earth do you draw so flipping fast
Toooo good 🔥🔥
Thanks a lot😁

how do you find the derivative of a fraction 60/p
THANK YOU!
thank u for this tut

Thanks a lot!!!
thank you sooooo much!!
in the last proplem why woudn't 7 and 3 be a factor because 7+3=10 7x3=21 so 3(x-7) (x+3)
This isnt the derivative that I needed apparently.. Im probably more lost than I was before
Hard to follow through sometimes
Thanks sir
thing is, our teacher wants us using the definition of derivative.
Thank u
