This one hit hard for me. I connected with the images SO MUCH as soon as i held it in my hands. It just speaks to me when i read with it, no matter how I am using it - study, shadow work, divination - you name it, it just works and connects...deep. I have a special box for it and it sits on my desk at all times. It is the first deck i have wrapped in a silk scarf i had as well. I never wrap my decks (they all have bags, a few have special boxes) but this one just feels like part of my soul. I never understood soul decks really, i have some that I am extremely connected to but to use the word soul just means something so deep words dont really apply and this deck just hits that spot. I finally understand that term. I adore it!!!!

Omg! Is that the Weaver’s Oracle peeking through in the bottom corner? I am LUSTING for it! How do you like it?
Also, thank you for this beautiful review! True reviews of decks are so rare, as you probably already know very well. You are filling a huge gap in the community 💖

I have this one and I have been in love with it ever since I saw it’s flip through on YT. The three of swords was the first card i saw of this deck and I just had to have this. I love this. Thank you for your review on this.

Great review. This deck is also one of my top five. Hopefully you can find some time to review Murder of Crows, which is also in my top five.

😂 if it's in your top five, it means you don't know many important tarot cards. this in my ranking is not even fiftieth ...

I don't really comment but I have something that I would like someone's help with if you have the time. I have a small collection of decks that I'm very proud of and I love them dearly but I don't feel like I know them. Take the Tarot Of The Abyss, I love the deck and it's a keeper for sure but I don't feel like I know it. But when Raecine (HI, LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!) talks about knowing and understanding the deck I agree with her completely. It's the same with all of my decks. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

I think there is a difference between decks as collectors items - art & interest, and decks for reading. Like children, you cant have such a strong relationship with each one if you take the number up really high. But that's okay if you just think of it as your library to dip into.
For me what I find frustrating is I'm watching youtubers who are using a lot of decks as they are reading professionally or they are 'working' to build their social media following, or they are actual collectors. I don't really want decks for the sake of collecting and I only need a certain number to read. but it is a temptation! and a balance.
I've realised if I want to have more 'library' decks that I can read as & when I feel like it its more important that the (tarot) deck follows a tarot structure in a loyal or thoughtful way. I feel like the T of the Abyss falls into this category despite a couple of changes, they are not taking liberties!
So then its vital to have a reviewer like Raecine who is honest - and when she does a review it is actually a review! After *using* the deck.
There is a kind of poignancy for a lot of us when thinking about the strong relationship we had with our initial deck/s ... especially if we came from the 'old days' when a most of us were only using one or two, so like you said we really got to know those images. Every single image we knew well. And every image built up layers of personal significance as we connected it with our lives. But this is also a good reason to indulge in having favourites now and not feel any obligation to use your decks equally, or to use them according to how much you spent on them.
There are some posts on IG about #smalldeckcollection & Queen of Wans wrote about it previously but sadly not much on youtube.
If your comment is still a question rubyboo - I would explore your collection on a very instinctive basis ... and choose 2 or 3 to deliberately form a closer relationship with. There are several yt videos on 'bonding with your deck'. I tend to go the easy route & just spend time looking at the images ... sorting through them in my own idiosyncratic way (noticing themes in the artwork helps), ... seeing what card & images remind me of ... and using for daily draws and/or study ...as well as dipping into book if it interests me. You have to find your own patterns & ways I think depending on your personality, what stimulates you etc, (as a visual person my way is quite art-oriented.)
Leave the other ones in your library without feeling bad about it. & you can pull them out as and when, whether that's for readings, or study - comparison, or to put a card out at inspiration for the month ... or to show a friend ... or some future time. ✌

Love love love this deck & I first saw it in your unboxing… It has an element of Romani culture & femininity that reminds me of my mother’s drawings when I was young.

So I'm not even a beginner....YET.My birthday is fairly soon, and I've always found the art of divination fascinating.I asked my mom if I could get a tarot deck (this will be my first one ever) she allowed it, as long as it was under 20$.After searching Amazon for a good while couldn't find one I liked asked for help from my spirit guides if they'd help me find a deck that was for me or would fit me nicely,After a few minutes of looking came across this and instantly was memorized and felt like this deep connection (idk if that makes sense) to it and like drawn to it,you know,as if it was like it really was for me.I seen reviews they all seemed to really liked t but I wanted to find someone to do a live review so I could really see it and know if it was a good one to get it or not,But after this video and a few others,I've decided this is the deck I'm going to get,I absolutely loved the artwork shown on them, however won't get them till my bday in like 10 days (May 21st.) so I really thank you for doing this video ❤️

Looks like a refreshing deck. I plan to get it. The art style really appeals to me & the spread in the book is perfect for the theme of this deck. I do like shiny decks that have cards jump out when shuffling, LoL. I feel like I know that was the card to pick. I find matte cards stick together & are hard to shuffle, IMO.

Ive been using this deck for around a month now and you're so rightt about it being gentle for readings and not dark despite the subject matter.. That being said if you do want that kind of thing but not too~ dark check out The Hermetic Tarot if you haven't already.
