I couldn't agree with you more when you say to stop selling sets ! My fondest memories as a child collector is sitting in front of my television watching the Yankee game and opening pack and saying ...got it got it got it need it got it need it. Putting together a set is soooooo much fun ! It is all in the chase of the base not blowing through the base cards and only looking for the big money cards.
Hi Doc, You briefly mentioned 1960 topps baseball cards. Just some feedback last month at the card show in my area I asked some of the vintage guys if they had any 1960`s and several said they just sold what they had or you are about the 5th guy asking. So seems like some interest in them. Thanks for showing your cards and telling us non-techy guys about the community tab. Have a good week.
Those prices are off the charts and there is a special note that Cal won’t take a picture with you. Does anyone know the economics behind how these are priced and how players are paid? Do players get profit sharing, a flat appearance fee, who sets the prices for different types of items? Some of these things seem silly high.

I wouldn't be surprised if some collectors have to sell a few cards to pay the bills in the next few months . Good vid.
Frank Thomas, Rickey Henderson, Mike Schmidt, and Cal Ripken would be sweet Autos to get st the national.

I have tried to sell cards but am too guilty of being a collector.
I disagree with your foundational point. The card is worth whatever someone will pay you for it. End of story
