My son is almost 3 and on the spectrum. I've given him 1 detox bath so far last week, but afterwards, I realize/read that I shouldn't have used soap to bathe him as it may reintroduce toxins back in. Planning on doing detox bath 1x a week, and on the other days, I'll use the soap. My friend referred me to a holistic doctor who tests blood to take a look at deficiencies, heavy metals etc. However, insurance doesn't cover it. Have you ever tried a holistic doctor? If so, please share your experience. Thanks and you're doing a great job, mama! 💙🩵💙🩵

Hey this is good to know. I guess so the soap we use is paraben and sulfate free but reading this it may not be enough. Might try switching to black soap for him. No I haven’t taken him to a holistic doctor but it does sound beneficial. Thank you for sharing❣️

@@shantalstone519 Thank you for sharing your experience and information! I use the Honest soap for him, but I guess since it has lavender, I shouldn't use right after the detox bath. I did read to make sure they drink a lot of water before/afterwards :). It's so nice to see your son's progress! Also, thanks for the training pants info as toilet training is also a process. 💙

Hey, how did the test go? Also if your child has a deficiency perhaps, if you think it is okay, try introducing grass fed beef liver, more packed in nutrients than any supplement out there and it is low cost. If you have hard water bar soaps is the worst to use and will cause scum and toxins from the soap to stick on the skin. If your water is soft or mildly hard, a castile soap that does not use manufactured citric acid (comes from black mold and traces of mycotoxins are left behind) might be good in small amounts. Ask your holistic doctor about herbs that remove heavy metals and make sure your child's electrolytes are balanced from the diuretic effects of the herbs flushing out the system, if you choose to do this.
