I almost had a heart attack on the Jurassic Park ride. I have both a fear or animatronics and megalophobia, so that T-Rex at the end had me seeing the light

So a little clarification: the first Attack on Titan attraction at Universal Cool Japan wasn't VR, but just a walk through attraction of scenes from the anime with lifelike models.

The inside of Mr. Rex at Cabazon being painted red made me soooo anxious and uncomfortable. It hardcore set off my claustrophobia. And the body museum just makes me uncomfortable to think about. But otherwise these are so cool! Note to self though: Scrunch down on the Jurassic World ride haha. That is tooooooo close for comfort!
I know "World Largest Dinosaurs," is just a catchphrase, but they are no longer the largest dinosaur statues. The largest dinosaur now is in Alberta called The World's Largest Dinosaur (how original).
that Vogel Rock ride is like a hybrid of Expedition Everest/Rock & Roller Coaster for Efteling. so cool. however, that Flying Kiss attraction looks terrifying in terms of imagining yourself falling off accidentally!

I agree. I didn’t know there was a word for describing people who had a fear of large objects. I honestly thought I was the only one or one of a very very small number.
If you're trying to show the megalophobia threat of these rides, try using ground up shots. Seeing it from the top doesn't make people with the actual fear scared and it goes more into acrophobia territory at times than the desired phobia
Pretty proud to see 2 Dutch attractions in this list! Leiden is a great city to visit and can be called the capital of science in the Netherlands, next to Corpus Leiden is home to Naturalis, about nature. Rijksmuseum van Oudheden, where history of ancient Egypt en Rome can be seen and Volkenkunde, where visitors can travel all corners of the world in just 1 day! so lot's to see there!

It's his design from the 2016 film. Personally, I think the dead-eyed look is terrifying and very apt. Shin is a mutated frilled shark I believe, and frilled sharks have these creepy vacant eyes...
When I went to Universal, the T-Rex head came out and malfunctioned. It roared and just paused. We were stuck on the ride for about an hour while they repaired it and the boat we were in. The mist from the T-Rex's nostrils just kept drenching us lmao 😂. They were really awesome about it and gave everyone free fastpasses.
@Eggfriend I think the official version is that early humans and dinos lived side by side. Like...that weird Ark Encounter has "dino sacrifice" scenes.
The dinos are still pretty cool though and it’s pretty easy to just shrug it off, since they don’t really shove it in your face even though they promote creationism and they’re still pretty friendly people who have done some pretty entertaining things with the dinos as you can tell by the video.
I honestly didn't even notice the creationism angle last time I was there, but the walk through attraction wasn't open, so I only got to check out the gift shop.
I actually did not know there was a different version of the tornado water slide here in Hawaii but dragon looks pretty cool too! At least this version has a lift for the floats... we have to carry them up all the stairs and hills...
I've actually been stuck inside the vogelrok once. There's a point after the snake where a booster usually happens but one time it didn't. As a long time fan and park goer it was a wicked experience and i was happy to have been stuck in the ride.
I lived so close to the vogelrok (efteling) a few years back, and now i live in Leiden very close to the corpus museum. So happy and almost honored to see them both on this list hahaha❤️🔥

I can definitely say that I have at least some level of megalophobia! Even big inflatable Christmas decorations can freak me out a bit...And since I also have a fear of heights, you couldn't pay me to go on that Flying Kiss ride!
Personally, the jurassic world ride was my favorite when I went. Though it really decided to screw with my submechanophobia as well as megalo. It was a fun experience until i realized I was trapped in a small space with a massive animatronic. The Kong one was nice too though, the screen one anyway.
I thought I had Megalophobia, but the idea of being that high off the ground with so little restraints on the The Flying Kiss is was truly frightens me. But I will say that its gorgeous and a ride ahead of its time. extremely breathtaking.....but the moment someone started jumping up and down trying to scare me....id be crying
I usually go to the Efteling about every year when me and my dad go to the Netherlands to visit my grandparents, but I haven't been able to recently because of Corona, but if I remember to next time I go there, I'll take a picture of Vogel Rok :D

I have a very specific fear of characters abandoned in the dark. I cannot look at photos of Buzzy in the dark at Wonders of Life, or Buzz Lightyear in the dark at Disney Quest. I don't know what this fear is called. Seeing the giant Medusa "unlit" on Journey to Atlantis and the mermaid statue behind the old Pepper's Ghost glass also gives me major anxiety as my brain interprets these as abandoned characters in the dark.
It was similar but no those dinosaurs in inside out were Arlo and that one other dinosaur that I forgot the name of from the Pixar movie The Good Dinosaur

The worst part about the dragon isn’t the massive dragon, it’s the whiplash you get when one of your passengers is a lot heavier than the others :/
