Thank you for the kind comments 🥹🖤 I’ve had some new followers thanks to your shout out 😎 Greta video this got me through a very slow hour at work 😆 I love your jumper it’s so cute ! I’ll 100% be using spooky September hashtag ! That hocus Pocus by tilton craft is amazing - Steve - crafty old man has started it !! Your fright night reminds me of my trick or treat ! Bummer it’s gonna take so long to get here 😒 The lowery stand is a game changer I’ve had mine for almost 2 years 🙏🏻🙏🏻 Great video and your progress is insane xx
Hi Maxine! Thank you so much for watching. I’m glad I could return the favour, to binged your videos from the start the other week on a very sunny Friday while I was stuck at work. I saw his start, that’s what made us start it a little sooner than planned. I can’t wait to see what Halloween goodies you show as we go into Autumn and the Spooky Season x
🤩 So much amazing stitching! I can't wait to see all the goth girls you whip up! I will, for sure, stitch Wednesday some day. I've recently stopped listening to audiobooks too. Must be something in the air. I was going through them like crazy, but felt pulled to some mindless tv and fell down the Silent Witness rabbit hole and now I have to watch all the seasons, and there's a billion, ha. Thank you so much for sending some love my way(and the super kind words)! I definitely had an uptick in subscribers!
That’s wonderful you got more people coming your way. I’m very wary of starting programs that have loads of seasons because I’m the same, I will need to watch them all lol. Thanks so much for stopping by again. Happy stitching!
Loved your update, and can’t wait to see you at the retreat- it’s going to be so much fun. Your Winnie chart is fabulous, I’m eager to see who’s next in the line up x
Thanks Bernie 🥰 I really appreciate you stopping by. I’m really looking forward to meeting you too, I think it will be so lovely to see so many cross stitchers in person.
Hi Sami!! So much to talk about! Firstly yay on the lowery! I got mine a few years ago and you are right it’s so helpful. I’m up and down a bit so I love That I can swing it away and come back to it and it’s in the same place. I did exactly the same as you. Tried two hands and it took about an hour before it felt ‘right’ 😂 so happy to hear you have joined the PFC can’t wait to see what you pick! Also love the idea of the DMC club. Years ago when sew and so was in business they did 5 packs you could buy so you could collect the DMC and every bday or Christmas I would ask for a couple of packs. I now have the full set and so it’s much easier with new starts. I keep them in numerical order in 5 big DMC storage boxes. I’m so happy to hear another company has found a solution to help stitchers get the full set! You wips are fab as ususal, can’t wait to see hocus pocus come to life. I’ll be stitching sleepy hollow in sept so if I see a hashtag I’ll join along in spooky sept! Happy stitching hunny 🧵💗
I can’t wait to get my first PFC kit. I’ve definitely been influenced by your projects. I’m so on the fence, there’s so many to choose from. The lowery has definitely been a game changer, I love it! Oooh I think that company was before my stitching journey began but I’m so excited to have the full DMC set one day. Thanks so much for watching xx
Oh thank you thank you for such a wonderful shout out. Omgoodness. I honestly cant believe how much stitching youre getting finished. Cannot wait to see all these new project bags😍😍😍😍
Just found your channel and have watched lots of your videos. You are a pleasure to watch and I really enjoyed seeing your projects. I have recently joined Floss Friends UK and am now going to find the Come dine with me challenge. I’m from N Ireland but have lived most if my life in Zambia. No stitchy friends here so I rely on flosstubers to keep me up to date. Thanks so much for sharing.
Hi Susan, thanks so much for watching and joining the Facebook groups. There are some wonderful people in the groups and I’m sure you will find many stitchy friends xx
Really enjoyed your video Sami as always. I could easily fall down the chatelaine rabbit hole as well!! Your designs are really great, you are super talented! Really looking forward to hearing all the news from your retreat, it sounds like it’s going to be fantastic!! Hopefully I can make it to one of them at some point. Take care and have a great stitchy week 🪡🪡🧵🧵
Thank you so much! I’m the same with the Essex Retreat, I would love to get there one day. I’m now attending the Bella Filipina retreat in May. I think that is closer your way. Thanks so much for stopping by and being lovely as always xx
Your patterns look awesome!! Love the Goth Girls! 😀 I was also recently considering the DMC box, except it’s double that money in Norway 😒 good to see you again!
Thanks Megan! I don’t know how you manage it. I grumble about the price difference compared to US but it sounds like things are pretty hard to come by in Norway. I hope you are doing well.
@@LittleLoopsStitching I make my family in the US hoard things for me and carry them to Norway on visits! I think my mom has around 8 packages I sent to her now - even some from the UK! 🤣
Great video. I'm so looking forward to the retreat and meeting in person. Lovely projects. I have to check out Goth Girls. Mind you, I ordered my HAED kit on 1st May 2021 and it arrived in October. They do say, though, it takes 3 months for them to prepare and send out the kit. And shipping between the US and Germany was also quite delayed. I also did the DMC thread club with Lakeside Needlecraft. Unfortunately, it's not really appealing to me to join clubs in the UK anymore, because of BREXIT. I'm also in the Weeks Dye Works and NPI silks club run by Fat Quarter Shop. Btw: I love "Only Murders in the Building". I think its charm is its sort of old-fashioned style. I also like me a real kitschy K-Drama.
Hi Michaela, thanks for stopping by! I’m really looking forward to meeting you. You have been a great member of the Facebook groups. Oh wow! That is a LONG time for delivery. I don’t think I’ve ever ordered a physical item from HAED. Hopefully you get the chance to do some craft shopping while your in the UK.
That is so disappointing to hear about Gecko Rouge, I just joined with your recommendation but I also voted on your fright night poll and was excited for it as well so...idk we will have to see, I didn't see anything saying they are 9 weeks out on shipping so that is a clear oversight! I have so many of your same Medusa Dollmakers Patterns on my wish list. Will def check out painefreecrafts....Lauren just makes them all look so amazing! Your designing is just taking off so keep up all the great work
Hi Erin! I’m hoping it is just a blip with Gecko because I have loved their kits in the past. I just felt I needed a change. I am sure they will get sorted out soon. I am excited about having some different kits to choose from though. Thanks so much for watching I really appreciate it x
Loved watching your video and seeing your progress. I love my lowery! I am so glad I have one. I also cancelled my Gecko Rouge subscription. I would recommend checking out Hawkins Hobbies, as they sell kits for Bella Filipina's, Mirabillia's Nora Corbett charts and they are based in the UK. 👠👠
Oooh thank you so much I’ve not heard of that company before. I’m really excited to start trying something new. The beads will be interesting 🤨 Thanks for watching xxx
Sam, Here is an idea to think about. Instead of spending over £300 for DMC colors, have you considered getting the DMC card with a small amount of the thread to compare the threads over your fabric. Here in the US, the DMC card with the threads are maybe $ 60 to 70 and maybe can be found less expensive at Amazon, Hobby Lobby and the likes. Be sure the set you are looking at has an actual piece of each floss not the color picture of each floss. Love watching your videos and the project bags your are making. What is the name of your Etsy shop? Wishing you the very best on your new journey of creating cross stitch patterns. Happy Stitching from South Carolina!
Hi Ann! That sounds like a really great idea. I’ll have a look and see what I can find in the UK. Thanks so much for watching 💕 My Etsy shop is Lizzies Little Loops. Happy stitching!
OOOOOhhh! You are really getting into the designing! I love it! I am definitely going to check out your Etsy store! I know what you mean about the 'fancy ladies' calling you - especially with the beading! I ordered Electra by Nora Corbett from 123Stitch and I'm getting my guts up to start it! I'm planning on stitching her on purple linen. I'm currently starting on a couple of the Mill Hill ornament kits to get myself used to using the beads. Do you have a link to the Stitching Challenge Group? Great video! I've had a day of stitching while catching up on your videos!
So glad I found you last month! Loved this video!!! I ordered my first full coverage piece this week. I’m doing bedtime story from Paine Free crafts, it’s by Chris Dunn! I’m sooo excited, I’m going to Kit it up and start October 1st!! I’m nervous but excited lol!!! Do you do yours on 28 count 1 over 1?? Also do you do a full cross or just a tent stitch?! Sooo much to learn haha
Oh how exciting, I love that one! I personally do mine on 28 count 2 over 1 tent stitch as I find it goes a lot quicker and I still get the coverage I like. It is totally personal preference. I can’t wait to see your progress.

You should definitely start a chatelaine and then go to the chatelaine retreat next year :)
😱😱😱😱 Noooo don’t encourage me lol! I’ve already signed up for the Bella Filipina retreat 🙈
