Disagree. Sam, their producer brings out the best of them, little ideas here and there. At end of the day, they write catchy pop rock. Coming up with vocal melodies like that is much much harder than you think. Maybe Bearings and The Maine i would put within the same realm. But still, I don't Bearings is consistent enough, and The Maine tends to lean darker. I'd describe BTYAM as a more modern Third Eye Blind (3eb's good albums
