NCB bhi sirf 15% milega first year meh. Aur NCB milta hai sirf own damage wala premium peh, 3rd party aur taxes peh nahi. For eg. Agar total value insurance kah 10000/- hai toh isme 7000-8000 /- Hota Hai 3rd party coverage kah aur 1000-1500 own damage kah premium Hota Hai, baking GST 18%. Yeh NCB bonus 15%-50%-75% 10000/- peh nahi sirf own damage kah 1000-1500/- per hota Hai. Not the whole amount of the premium.

I had once claimed insurance on my car for repairing a dent on the bonut and boot. The overall bill was 6k, out of which i paid 2k. The second time, when i asked a local mechanic for dent repair, he told me 2.2k for the job. Repair Center takes money from insurance as well as owner also.

I am a Maruti owner and my service advisor who is my friend suggested outside workshop for this type of minor work because insurance cost will be more for next time premium also.
You can claim insurance even from any local garage also, only difference is you won't get cashless, you have to submit the claim form and vehicle documents, vehicle will be inspected by a surveyor and after repairing submit the bill.

They can give parts purchase bill from any spare parts dealer and labour bill in the garage Letter head Insurance companies accept that. They will be happy if we repair from local garage as their liability is also reduced. Showrooms are expensive sometimes
According to my experience even the service centre won't be able to give you the OEM fishing back because may be some paint finishing will have a mere mismatch and OEM kind of finishing is hard to get, now coming to the local mechanic they will just get the job done but use of putty will be more quantity denting finishing and all will be a question I feel, in showroom if quality is not up to your satisfaction you can ask for rework may be by proving there inferior quality which u can't in local mechanic because they even don't know the paint mix and all accurate or in other words it's will be like 19/20 in service station and local vendor might be 17/20

Bro appreciate your work But reality is Insurance that you have taken for your car in case of accident The purpose behind insurance is to safeguard your car from accidents no matter how many times you take claim For one thing no claim bonus you take service from outside which cost you in long run But insurance will save your car from counterfeit part Which is beneficial if you use your car in long run and your car will also be in well maintained condition. In tata one good thing is if your car is insured they replace the part So don't fall in the trap of no claim bonus and maintain your car for which you have taken insurance.
The problem is that if you don't know any trusted reputed mechanic outside, you shouldn't give you vehicle for repairs. In most of the cases these local roadside garages end up causing more damages and once its done, you can't really do much about it. I have had incidents where retarded mechanics have overtorqued bolts on my vehicle causes critical damages. Atleast in service centers you can storm them inside out and if you go hard on them they'll have to listen to you.
Sir the door should be replaced as fixing it wont restore the factory panel gaps and structural internal. Same for the lower section of rear quater panel and one more thing the showroom has a paint booth which reduces the chance of trash or dirt in paint . I have personally done denting and painting from local guys in my area 2-3 times and it never gives showroom quality .

I really dont understand why anyone would risk giving a new car to a road side mechanic for any issue be it mechanical, electrical or dent paint. There is no issue in getting the part replaced. at least you are sure that your car has new pannels. For your information, the door was replaced because the dent was in a precarious zone and denting in that zone weakens the metal. your door arch was dented because side pannel replacement is a major job. If you leave your vehicle at the authorised service center, the service center is liable for all thefts. In my past experience of 20 uears of owning various brands, I have never seen this happening. this dent job will be caught very easily during resale, and the buyer will definitely doubt all claims of genuine parts used during vehicle ownership and the claim that the vehicle was serviced at authorised centres. this will also be caught during resale to organised resale players when they do a paint depth test.
My suggestion to go for insurance because the survive centre do have paint booth in which they do paint the car neatly and that work can't be achieved from outside

Technical Gyan ji insurance claim mein karwao aapne Sara hisab to laga liya but shayad aapko ye nahi pata ho ki paint process local mechanic ka or service centre ka alag hota hai. Simple si baat kahoonga local mechanic ke kiye paint par aap brake oil laga kar dekhna paint nikal jaayega or company ke paint par lagaoge to kuch nahi hoga. Personal experience hai try jaroor karna or batana. Service center mein paint karne ke baad gaadi ko heat treatment Diya jata hai jisse paint Pak jaata hai. Or please aap ye explore Karen or agar aap bhi mujhe comment karke batayenge to mujhe accha lagega 😊
You can get it fixed by good body shop. But you need check their previous work. I dont think one days work will allow the body filler and paint to dry properly. It will look good initially but after some days the paint will start to become dull. Also you get the rear right wheel alignment check because in such case alignment can also go wrong.

It's ok if private party's carried out the work properly, We can save money and time. But we should also think about the after repair effects such as door panel sounds colour matching etc. etc...
I prefer going to service center. Reasons - I get original parts, I don't risk other parts getting changed. This risk is much higher in local garages. At least 70-80% cases will end up changing original parts. Also, most important, local garages can not match original color - for sure. Now it depends from brand to brand - i have seen Hyundai asking for less part replacement than Tata. Tata for even small things, ask for entire part to be replaced , so higher cost, higher insurance claim etc etc. At least when you give your car to Authorised service center, you can be rest assured that you will get original items, and no treachery, no part change behind the scene. I don't know where you learnt that in authorised service centers also, parts were replaced with duplicate ones
Yes even I’ve read many blogs that even service center staff change the original parts one such example was car was given for accident repair and owner was not of town for a month and there was another car of same make which was having some issues with some part so the service staff removed the original part from the accident car and fitted it in the other car because that owner was creating pressure on them so now the owner who was out of town had no idea about all this then when his car started to have problems because of that part change all the investigation happened and the service centre acknowledged that the part was swapped with another car
Did you escalate it to regional support head ? Their service center license will be in trouble. You should not leave such instances@@akmakm321 . if you leave such one instance, service center will dare to do the same again with another customer. For me, at least Advait Hyundai chain is reliable for service and repair. There is another Hyundai dealer chain in bangalore, which I doubt on based on my experience.

Pros:- Get repaired quickly + way cheaper than standard + Resale value high as no accii are shown on record + higher vehicles declared value in the next insurance policy. Cons:- Can't claim insurance cover. 2. Get repaired from authorities service centre ( either of company or outside), you may claim insurance cover but need to wait for + higher cost. . . Conclusion :- If damages are way higher, , then go for claim ( which I did for my Baleno in 2022 . It costed appx 42,000₹ but I paid only 2800 ₹ for file and other plastic items only). And if claims are upto 30,000₹ , , get it done from market. It will retain higher value of vehicle at resale. . . Any accident on record ( minor or major) = Decreased value of vehicle
My car engine seized in 2020. Company service center estimated appx 1,60,000₹ . I got it done in market in 90,000₹ only + 1 year warranty of engine which was not given by authorised service centre.

We used to own safari strome and got the front bumper and bonnet painted through insurance at authorised sc. The work they did was very very poor, with visible colour diff, when asked they said "sir ye to aise hi hota hai " . After 2 years the paint completely faded out and you could see the putty through it. This exact same event happend with our ciaz also, thier quality of work is the worst. If thats how the quality of work of these service center is then there is nothing wrong in getting it done from local mechanic
Yes i did the same, my hexa was hit by a reversing truck where the boot lower area, tail lights and bumper was damaged. Got it claimed through insurance where the car was dented and painted in 5 days incl. Claim process but the parts availability took a bit of time. I asked them to deliver the car until the parts arrival and will get the parts replaced as soon as it arrives. The total process took 10 days.

Try to get it repaired outside but see if they have proper paint booth. Painting in open area will attract dust and paint will not provide long time safety to metal parts.
Try to get it at authorized service center .roadside denting appears to be tempting but you do not know what material he will use and denting painting work is full of jugaad. After 1 year reality will surface and rusting will start at the affected area.

Once i went to hyundai service center for denting n painting of front bumper and fenders ,everythig was ok,good work done but aftr some time i realized that my fuel meter is not working properly soi went to another place for fixing this,the workman there asked me," sir had it been ur car knocked from bottom or it touched a speed braker,i said no,then he told me ur fuelmeter assembly is damaged and u will have to pay aprox 6500 rs plus labour,then i came to know that this part was stolen and changed with a damaged one in hyundai service center,all this story took almost 6 to 7 months consequently I could not blame hyundai for their staffs deed !
We should go to specialized places at local garage where they do A to Z everything they generally swap other parts too, but a specialized paint shop wont bother much with your vehicle parts and would do their work.

I prefer insurance claim bcoz it will get repaired by authorized service. As far as part 'idhar ka udhar' point- it can happen during normal servicing too. I don't know paying good amount as premium and still preferring outside work and spending extra would be beneficial. The extra fuel/taxi cost- it can be parked as regular fuel cost in case there had been no accident. Time issue- yes that'll be there as Service centre would have lot of vehicles in the pipeline.
Paint karne ka aur dent nikalne ka ek process hota hai. Kis quality ka paint, lacquer aur kitna mettalic finish add kiya jata uss par bhi depend karta hai. Paint pakaya kaise jata hai..dhoop mein ya IR heating process mein. Aapke saare hisab se insurance price thik lagi kyunki quality ki zimmedari unki agar aapne defect pakad liya to...haan agar cost bahar karwane se half pade to socha ja sakta hai but jaise hi 50% se zyada hojaye, better insurance se karwalo.

My freestyle had rusting near 3 door handles..Estimate from show-room (Goa) was 12 - 15k per door deliver time was around 15 days. In my manglore visit, i went to car workshop and done it in just 9.5 k for all 3 doors He also removed door dent and bumper scratch for free.
Insurance is taken to avoid all the hassle and to be be tension free....this video shows just the opposite....giving your car outside and expecting the same finishing is a misnomer...comparing the cost et al is already so much trouble and everyone seems to be enjoying it...😊

Recently I have also taken insurance claim, then while renewal of insurance ICICI LOMBARD has increased premium by Rs 4000/-, so you have to pay more premium in renewal also .

company service center मैं भी बहुत बेहतरीन काम नहीं होता, अगर compromised work हीं मिलना है तो बाहर क्यों ना करायें, कंपनी वाले insurance से पैसे निकालने के लिए कुछ बड़ा कर बिल बनाते है और मेरा experience है कि वो काम भी flawless कर के नहीं देते तो बेहतर है एक अच्छा डेंटर पकड़ो और बाहर ही काम करा लो अपनी आँखों के सामने।

I had once claimed insurance on my car for repairing a dent on the bonut and boot. The overall bill was 6k, out of which i paid 2k. The second time, when i asked a local mechanic for dent repair, he told me 2.2k for the job.
Repair Center takes money from insurance as well as owner also.
Always add consumables in your insurance policy…than.. they will only charge file charges after that

You can claim insurance even from any local garage also, only difference is you won't get cashless, you have to submit the claim form and vehicle documents, vehicle will be inspected by a surveyor and after repairing submit the bill.

According to my experience even the service centre won't be able to give you the OEM fishing back because may be some paint finishing will have a mere mismatch and OEM kind of finishing is hard to get, now coming to the local mechanic they will just get the job done but use of putty will be more quantity denting finishing and all will be a question I feel, in showroom if quality is not up to your satisfaction you can ask for rework may be by proving there inferior quality which u can't in local mechanic because they even don't know the paint mix and all accurate or in other words it's will be like 19/20 in service station and local vendor might be 17/20

Sir the door should be replaced as fixing it wont restore the factory panel gaps and structural internal. Same for the lower section of rear quater panel and one more thing the showroom has a paint booth which reduces the chance of trash or dirt in paint . I have personally done denting and painting from local guys in my area 2-3 times and it never gives showroom quality .
Bro its first time denting on the door so no need to replace the whole door. It can be fixed nicely by any experienced denter.

I really dont understand why anyone would risk giving a new car to a road side mechanic for any issue be it mechanical, electrical or dent paint. There is no issue in getting the part replaced. at least you are sure that your car has new pannels.
For your information, the door was replaced because the dent was in a precarious zone and denting in that zone weakens the metal. your door arch was dented because side pannel replacement is a major job.
If you leave your vehicle at the authorised service center, the service center is liable for all thefts. In my past experience of 20 uears of owning various brands, I have never seen this happening.
this dent job will be caught very easily during resale, and the buyer will definitely doubt all claims of genuine parts used during vehicle ownership and the claim that the vehicle was serviced at authorised centres. this will also be caught during resale to organised resale players when they do a paint depth test.

Technical Gyan ji insurance claim mein karwao aapne Sara hisab to laga liya but shayad aapko ye nahi pata ho ki paint process local mechanic ka or service centre ka alag hota hai. Simple si baat kahoonga local mechanic ke kiye paint par aap brake oil laga kar dekhna paint nikal jaayega or company ke paint par lagaoge to kuch nahi hoga. Personal experience hai try jaroor karna or batana. Service center mein paint karne ke baad gaadi ko heat treatment Diya jata hai jisse paint Pak jaata hai. You can get it fixed by good body shop. But you need check their previous work. I dont think one days work will allow the body filler and paint to dry properly. It will look good initially but after some days the paint will start to become dull. Also you get the rear right wheel alignment check because in such case alignment can also go wrong.

I prefer going to service center. Reasons - I get original parts, I don't risk other parts getting changed. This risk is much higher in local garages. At least 70-80% cases will end up changing original parts. Also, most important, local garages can not match original color - for sure. Now it depends from brand to brand - i have seen Hyundai asking for less part replacement than Tata. Tata for even small things, ask for entire part to be replaced , so higher cost, higher insurance claim etc etc. At least when you give your car to Authorised service center, you can be rest assured that you will get original items, and no treachery, no part change behind the scene. I don't know where you learnt that in authorised service centers also, parts were replaced with duplicate ones

Yes even I’ve read many blogs that even service center staff change the original parts one such example was car was given for accident repair and owner was not of town for a month and there was another car of same make which was having some issues with some part so the service staff removed the original part from the accident car and fitted it in the other car because that owner was creating pressure on them so now the owner who was out of town had no idea about all this then when his car started to have problems because of that part change all the investigation happened and the service centre acknowledged that the part was swapped with another car
Did you escalate it to regional support head ? Their service center license will be in trouble. You should not leave such instances@@akmakm321 . if you leave such one instance, service center will dare to do the same again with another customer. For me, at least Advait Hyundai chain is reliable for service and repair. There is another Hyundai dealer chain in bangalore, which I doubt on based on my experience.

We used to own safari strome and got the front bumper and bonnet painted through insurance at authorised sc. The work they did was very very poor, with visible colour diff, when asked they said "sir ye to aise hi hota hai " . After 2 years the paint completely faded out and you could see the putty through it.
This exact same event happend with our ciaz also, thier quality of work is the worst.
If thats how the quality of work of these service center is then there is nothing wrong in getting it done from local mechanic

Yes i did the same, my hexa was hit by a reversing truck where the boot lower area, tail lights and bumper was damaged. Got it claimed through insurance where the car was dented and painted in 5 days incl. Claim process but the parts availability took a bit of time. I asked them to deliver the car until the parts arrival and will get the parts replaced as soon as it arrives. The total process took 10 days.

Once i went to hyundai service center for denting n painting of front bumper and fenders ,everythig was ok,good work done but aftr some time i realized that my fuel meter is not working properly soi went to another place for fixing this,the workman there asked me," sir had it been ur car knocked from bottom or it touched a speed braker,i said no,then he told me ur fuelmeter assembly is damaged and u will have to pay aprox 6500 rs plus labour,then i came to know that this part was stolen and changed with a damaged one in hyundai service center,all this story took almost 6 to 7 months consequently I could not blame hyundai for their staffs deed !
We should go to specialized places at local garage where they do A to Z everything they generally swap other parts too, but a specialized paint shop wont bother much with your vehicle parts and would do their work.

I prefer insurance claim bcoz it will get repaired by authorized service. As far as part 'idhar ka udhar' point- it can happen during normal servicing too. I don't know paying good amount as premium and still preferring outside work and spending extra would be beneficial. The extra fuel/taxi cost- it can be parked as regular fuel cost in case there had been no accident.
Time issue- yes that'll be there as Service centre would have lot of vehicles in the pipeline.

I had a major d/p work on my swift (type 2) including chassy , major than this one service center quotes me 6000 + 800 (minor r bumper repair) .
If the outside person uses a good company paint and putty then go for it but make sure that where the car gets painted the place must be dust free.
My freestyle had rusting near 3 door handles..Estimate from show-room (Goa) was 12 - 15k per door deliver time was around 15 days.
In my manglore visit, i went to car workshop and done it in just 9.5 k for all 3 doors He also removed door dent and bumper scratch for free.

Mine car has been repaired. But insurance company isn't giving any survey report or any documents. They are asking to make payment . My question is can they disqualify claim later ? I am confused as no documented proof haven't provided to me. 😢

Same thing happened with me 1st they told me they will change door and when i claim then they said it will repair i don't know what bill amount they charged to insurance but i take claim. Tata punch same door and panel also damaged.

Not at all requires to repair this in service center. Outside garages also do much better work than service center. Service center is there to loot customers.
Meri Nano k left door halka sa scratch hua tha lekin insurance ki wajah se new door laga diya. Lekin original door jsisa nahi hai new door. Paisa bhi le liya or time bhi laga tha 4 days

Service center main claim ke bas file charges lagte hain No claim bonus bhi sirf own damage pe milta hai , 1000 rs main gadi phle jaise ho jati , ncb jati to bhi 2000 aur maan lo agar 20k ka od hota fir bhi, service center se agar parts chori hote ya gadi mai koi problems aati to uske liye aap Company ke pass ja skte ho local ki guarantee kon lega, plus paint wagera match ni kar pate h local wale , video ke naam pe kuch bhi daalre h ajkl log ab jisne khud kbhi insurance claim nhi liya wo to maan bhi lega ya to puri information do ya fir video mt bnao , is case main local se 6000 ka kaam koi kyu karayega jb 1000-1500 mai sb shi ho skta h agar insurance use hi nahi krna to karwane ka fayda kya hai 😂

सर मै भी अपनी बलेनो आगे से पेड़ मै मार दी थी हल्के मे 😊😊 ज़्यदा नुकसान तो नही था पर सर्विस सेंटर वाले ने 7000 का खर्चा बताया मैने क्लेम भी नही किया और बाहर से 2000 मे काम हो गया सही से ☺ इसलिए आप बाहर से ही करा लो वो बेहतर है पैसा और समय दोनो की बचत ☺👍👍

company service center मैं भी बहुत बेहतरीन काम नहीं होता, अगर compromised work हीं मिलना है तो बाहर क्यों ना करायें, कंपनी वाले insurance से पैसे निकालने के लिए कुछ बड़ा कर बिल बनाते है और मेरा experience है कि वो काम भी flawless कर के नहीं देते तो बेहतर है एक अच्छा डेंटर पकड़ो और बाहर ही काम करा लो अपनी आँखों के सामने।
Bhar karlo aachi quality ka. Service records mai bhi nahi aayega aur kahi n kahi aachi quality milegi. Maine i20 pe claim liya tha usne tho kuch jagh bina dent aur putty kare hi paint maar diya (chote dents) aur paint mai bhi chote chote dot hai jabki dusri car waganr puri paint karayi barah se usse koi dekh ke bata nahi sakta ki bo paint hui hai ek perfect finish hai uski jab ki I 20 pheli nazar mai samj aajati hai ki paint hui hai
