Gotten a chance to see Nita Strauss play with Alice a couple of times now and she is amazing. One of the best guitarists in the genre and only in her early 30's with her career continuing to rise. Alice is now 70 and he is as good as ever.

First listened to Alice when I was 11 years old in 72. Finally got to see him on Motley Crue’s final tour. They were great and Nita Strauss nailed it! Tommy Lee couldn’t play so Glen Sobel did double duty and pulled it off. All in all a great double bill!

Alice said that he needed a shredder - so would Vinnie Moore or Reb Beach call - from those - who played with them - they are much more technical, their solos are much more rich than Nita.
IMHO - Nita is very weak technically (of course - not a complete zero - like Ryan Roxie)
PS Poison - strangely enough - it sounds very bad live - this is one of the songs - that in the studio version it sounds just gorgeous - but not so powerful live (there are such rock hits - alas - for example - Bon Jovi You Give Love A Bad Name - also live sounds poor).
PS2 It is a pity that the ending of the song is very lively, but the studio is not very technical, but it’s very melodic about the solo theme that only Pete Friesen played live when he was in the band in the late 90s / 2000. And this version live is on Brutal Planet tour and it is very good.
