Examiners love a curveball. I find looking at past papers very useful because it gets you used to the way they phrase questions and you can learn how to answer them.

Hi Lou, thanks for the RO video's they are very informative. I passed the RO4 exam yesterday after putting it off a couple of times - i think it's been the hardest one yet for me. Anyhow my last exam is the RO6 - do you think it is advisable to look through all the RO's taken to date before taking the RO6 on? as it's been a while since i did them?

@@TT-it6cr thanks for watching. If you've done them all fairly close together then you probably have retained enough knowledge. But give the past papers a go first and see how you get on.

I passed my R05 today and I now only have R06 left to obtain my level 4. I am cutting it fine it I book into the July examination so I’m hoping to book into September 2022. However, as the syllabus is renewed at the end of August and a new book and study materials come out will the affect me? Basically the question I am asking is would I be disadvantaged by using the current 2021/22 book to study over the 2022/23 book that will come out the month before I sit the exam? Thanks

Congratulations! That's fantastic news. With most syllabuses, the updated study text simply reflects any changes to tax rates, etc as announced by the government, so make sure you use the must up to date rates.

I am also taking this in September 2022, and also using a book from this year (pre Aug 2022). However, looking at the book its all a refresh really - I am just skimming through it. The most valuable revision tool will be the Brand analysis when the case study comes out - assuming you have a good base knowledge that is. Highly recommend Brand!
