Oh wow, what insane body control! And so awesomely wild - wonderful dance!😃👏 And i thought the Slovaks were wild in their dances🤣 now I see why young soldiers danced this in times of recrution to demonstrate their strength and ability!
But did he sing moja mila with a polish L (sorry, can't write it on my phone)? I've heard it from some Moravian musicians now and always wondered if those were actually polish songs and not Czech.. or does that L exist too in some Moravian dialects?

Well, you are correct, that verbuňk was for demonstration of power, but not only for that. Verbuňk is very personal dance. It should be emotional and very expresive. So, in South Moravia there are like 8 styles of verbuňk. The verbuňk is divided into like 4 sections. Singing, slow cifrování (cifrování = verbuňk), singing and very fast cifrování. My friend once told me very poetic analogy of verbuňk. "It is like you starting fire from scratch. In the beggining you have burning coals or small fire, but then it should be biggest fire as you ever saw, as you pour your whole hart into it." Love that! :D Nowadays this dance you can see in many villages when they have "Hody" (celebration of successful harwest of the crop - in the past). So this dance was (and i think still is :D) for showing off infront of your crush. :D
And secondly. Yes, this is dialect from Moravia, and there are more dialects. Czech, Slovakian and Polish are quite similar languages. So might be phonetically similar. But these are Moravian songs. And i don't think that Poland have something similar as verbuňk or songs like us. :)
      Hope that help :) Cheers
PS: sorry for my englando :D
