I'm a big fan of FPO and the field is getting much more competitive this season. Love to see all her success but it's great to see how the sport is growing too while she continues to break boundaries. Other names to keep an eye on besides the ones mentioned in the video are Hailey King, if she can focus and control her emotions when shes not playing well, and Silva Saarinen from Finland, she dominated the Euro tour last year and is making appearances on lead cards in the US this season.
I believe that she deserves that milestone. Silva Saarinen is my next bet to get there. She has an interesting game, incredible standstill power and accuracy and likely to give Ohn's putting stats competition this year.
Thanks for an awesome video. I like watching Kristin and always root for her in any event she's in. I am thrilled to see her get the 1000 rating. I however, didn't know some of those other awesome stats about her. Thanks for putting them all together in a really inspiring video. I wish her the best of fortune in the future.
All Hail the Queen, indeed! Whenever she's playing, she's the favorite over the entire field. Although with Evelina's putting improvements the dynamics are shifting just a bit. Maybe there will be an Evelina-Kristin rivalry developing now.
Not going to lie I kind of want Kristin to dominate for another year or two because I want to see her make a run at those world titles and Majors #s. She started late so age will play a factor in her career #s
FINALLY! In like 2016 I was asking "Who will be the first 1000 rated woman? Paige Pierce? Someone else w know? Someone else we've never heard of?" At the time I was betting on the latter and it turned out to be true. That's the best achievement ever!
I think Henna might have an easier time improving her putting than Eveliina. Henna's form is atrocious so if she fixes it _(starts using her legs and quits twisting her torso)_ she could take a huge leap forward. Eveliina's form is already fine, she just seems to get the yips sometimes, and that can be hard to fix. On the other hand, though, Eveliina _has_ won twice this year and she putted well in both tournaments, so maybe she's on the right track already. If I had to guess who will be next to 1000, I think I would take Silva Saarinen, but I'm not actually sure. I feel like the thing that really differentiates FPO competitors is killer instinct _(and obviously throwing ability, but I'm talking about the very top competitors here)_ and I haven't seen enough of Silva to know if she's got it, but she does already have a bunch of wins in Europe and she's only 20.
As someone who just changed their putting form and saw immediate results from it, I can anecdotally say I can vouch for the theory behind Henna making a jump. Plus her C1x% is so atrocious that it should be much easier in theory to jump 15-20%
@@ArmoryDiscGolf Yeah, she's got a lot of potential. She already might be the best tee to green thrower in the entire FPO - some of her long turnovers are crazy - so if she gets the putting right she could be excellent.
It's on StatMando's website, in "StatZone" under "Tee -> Green" statistics. It's not the easiest site to navigate but there are some goodies if you dig around
Sorry miss Pierce, time to turn the Paige. The fact that her floor for Elite Series events is top 10 is so impressive 🤯 It takes so much discipline to stay locked in when you aren’t playing your best- very easy to slip down the ranks. But not for the Queen! 👑
🤦🏼♂️ 38 times bro.. Not once has she allowed herself to finish out of top 10. Not once she did pull a Cole Redalen (🤡). If you want to dilute the statistic, go ahead, but her discipline is unequivocally a trait that maintains her dominance in the field.
She is the best for sure. She will likely retire as the greatest ever, by a mile. Kristin already has the highest and most dominant peak ever, when you consider how competitive the FPO field is right now
Pablo inspired thousands to play disc golf and was on the front lines of taking the sport "seriously" from the way he trained, the way he dressed, the way he carried himself on the course. He has the largest fan base in the history of the sport and got $10 million to sell discs, I think he's got some charisma 😉
@@ArmoryDiscGolf 100% agree. He's also got a lot of charisma when he isn't playing an actual round. Watch him on the Jomez practice round he played for the MCO. He's a completely different person when he's not competing.
I wonder who will be the first man to rate over 1k in the FPO. I used to appreciate watching the ladies play but will not support the FPO until they correct the travesty.
I am not a pro and not an expert, but a) EM needs to learn how to play all-around game and (NB) we don`t know her nerves either when it comes to winning responsibility b) it took 3 years for KT from 960 to 1000 and the rest of the field is getting better all the time... We will see how long it takes before somebody else will reach 1000 rating (PP being so far the closest at 996 and 2021).
@@margusmagi6703 16 or 17 and on the DGPT, and has the most distance,.and can putt lights out! She doesn't need much else to dominate other than a couple of years of learning experience. If she stays hyped about the game, she will be a hugely dominant player soon. And didn't know that about her siblings, that'll be fun to watch.
This makes zero sense to me she been dominating and playing above 1000 rated for a while and they just hold her at 999 for whatever reason then she takes a week off and goes up how does this make sense?
A player’s PDGA rating is based on rounds in the 12 months prior to the date of their most recently rated round. In other words, she may have had a lower rated round from a year ago that was affecting her overall rating, and enough time has now passed that it is no longer calculated in the current rating.
Have you been to a tour event recently? KT birdied a hole twice that I would have a hard time getting a birdie on, the way she can approach accurately from 300ft and in is next level, basically the women's tee at MCO were placed such that the approaches where the same, and KT is just better than the lower end to middle of MPO at this from what I saw. If you don't think KT deserves 1000 you haven't seen her playing well in person
All hail the Queen!

I'm sorry, but Paul Mcbeth and "charisma" do not belong in the same sentence. Not even the same exoplanetary system...
Congrats KT!

Anyone know why she didn’t play at copenhagen?
She probably didn't want to fly back and forth in a week.
Midling will absolutely dominate in a couple of years. Hopefully she keeps at it

Ratings update on the second Tuesday of every month, so today's update reflects the rounds she's played since the second Tuesday of last month 👍
A player’s PDGA rating is based on rounds in the 12 months prior to the date of their most recently rated round. In other words, she may have had a lower rated round from a year ago that was affecting her overall rating, and enough time has now passed that it is no longer calculated in the current rating.
It is an algorithm that is only updated once a month by the PDGA.
As to the next, Hailey King?
She's got the potential. Might not have the mental game to dominate long-term though
1000 rated from the womens tees. Throw from the mens your now 950 rated
