This is one of the nicest shops I have ever seen!
Nice! I am excited about the new shop...and I don't even work there. Thanks for the final tour and letting us know how much it set you back. May the Lord bless your biz.
Jason, great your of the new facility, seeing it in person gives it more justification. Continue your success and hope to be out there again shortly.
This is my dream to have one of these. Is what i want to do in the future and you guys gave me a push with all the great work you do. You are awesome. 👍🏽
Been following these videos and posts on FB for a while. I was surprised by my fiancé with a paint correction and interior detail on my Grand Cherokee as a father’s day’s gift. The car came out amazing and the attention to detail, quality of work, the customer service, everything about CAG is superb. Great job and the shop is amazing! Can’t wait to return with our other car.
That's an awesome gift. She's a keeper!
A great looking shop. It’s really a first class operation; great job!
I love detailing cars. That is a nice shop, thank you for the tour.
This shop is amazing. Glad to see you guys growing!
Love that new shop! You thought of everything!
Hey mate insulate the copper tubes that way you could reduce the heat loss. Also I rein you should use a larger heater with a higher capacity
Thought the same thing.
Capacity won't matter, unless its undersized for the amount of water flow - in which case thats an egregious error or done by a nonprofessional.
Awesome Shop! So glad I'm local!
I’m coming for a Tour for sure. Nothing but awesomeness. 👏🏾👊🏾👍🏾
Come by any time!
congrates on the new shop , looks great.
The shop is amazing!!!
Also love all your weekly videos.
Thank you!
You guys shop it top notch, can’t wait to get out there tomorrow for ur’ll to work on my car.
Might have to road trip from Florida to check you guys out! Love the channel and shop!
Congrats with your “Atellier” its art what you deliver!! 🤙🏽
Looks awesome mate. Best of luck for the future. Big fan England UK 👌👌🔥🔥😎
Congratulations!!!!
Wow! You have an amazing facility! I would love to have 1/4 that space for detailing in our little city of Las Cruces, NM. Very nice. Love you videos. Keep them coming.
Great Shop Jason!
The place is Bad ass,,,congrats J,..really looks awesome bro.🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽👍🏽👍🏽😎
That’s a dream rite there brother keep it up. AMAZING!!!
I like the white walls. It gives a very clean look
Jason, you and the team have a wonderful facility. Paint that ivy on the walls, too many bugs and dust catchers, same too on the palm tree posts. Impressive but so is the work of the staff.
Congratulations
not sure if venting the dryers through the bathroom exhaust is the best idea, or if code even allows it. Dryer exhaust contains lint which really needs its own direct vent. If you're going to cut a hole in the roof for a power roof vent, might as well go ahead and vent the dryers out the roof also.
jason great shop, all the best, love your videos, from Australia
Very nice shop. Job well done.
Very good shop !!! Gongratulations!
And all this started with $20 detail gigs out the back of a van... if this dont inspire a young detailer I dont know what will. Well done my friend.
Great shop!!!
i'm a big fan of you'r video's, shop look like super awesome, love from INDIA
Good Luck!!!!!
70 year old detailer here. I just love your shop with all the room. started using dr. Beasley's from your videos
Love this.
The one dislike is from the building management for drilling those bricks 😅 very nice shop, I've been following your channel for a while and love what you guys do!
If you insulate the hot water pipes, it might give you a better shot at getting warmer water out the washer
Oh, thank you for the suggestion.
You can have live plants on the walls. They make drip less rack systems, are automatically watered and will help clean the air! The addition of live color would be cool
Awesome facility!! Congratulations, wish you all the best for the business and lots of nasty cars to detail. Couple of observations, you must install some insulation through the hot water lines and adding a steam generator could be very helpful for deep cleaning!!!
wow Congratulations!
Like it, before Jason even started 😉
But so happy for this video
And for you J. And Team 👍🏼
Great Job! God bless you all the time.... Say hello from Ecuador
Hello!
Awesome !!! 💪
Great job done u guys r awesome
Maybe you should just put something around this copper lines to keep heat inside them
thats a bad ass shop bro
Looks awesome! Love the attention to detail. What are you plans for future upgrades in the shop?
Da Detail shop! Da Bears!
Excellent shop!
For your hot water issue....you could add a secondary tankless water heater on that opposite wall. They make pretty good tankless electric water heaters, but they do use a lot of juice. I saw that you have a natural gas line for your current water heater. You could tap into that line to feed another gas tankless water heater also. I think a additional water heater could help. Also several other people have mentioned this, but for sure cover your copper lines with pipe insulation. That will slow down the heat dissipation. You may want to try that first. When it comes to your walls; you built the place with some classy touches. I think putting graffiti on those walls would just cheapen it up. For sure something would be nice but something that will stand the test of time is what I recommend. Been a fan of your vlogs, keep up the good work. Would love to get some work done but live a little ways from you. South Atlanta to Chicago would be a haul. 😂
So, I had an idea that I am surprised no one has done yet. You know those lights that dentists have when working on patients? Have something like that on a sliding rack. You can have the light anywhere you want and it slides out of the way when not needed. Also, perhaps have black curtains around each bay to minimize second hand reflections and keep dust down. Just random ideas...
I talked with the election about something like that. He didn't come back with any options for me. You make it I'll buy it!
@@ChicagoAutoPros I will send you an email with what I have found. If it works out, this could change the detailing game something fierce!
Nice 👍
Looking nice ✌️✌️
Now thats my dream shop also
From an HVAC background and assuming you haven't figured it out yet, you just need to insulate those hot water pipes with pipe insulation. Another possibility is to move the water heater farther up the line, might not want a water heater on your ceiling, but it may be an option.
west coast customs of detailing , very nice more organized than most of the dealerships
PERFECT
Great job deserved !
Awesome shop and I love your work ethic and vision.
*Head on down to the Carolinas. I bet you keep 25% more of the money you make.
Dream job😍
You should have a silhouette of the Chicago skyline on the back wall!
Like the idea " Rainforest "
Love the shop. Personally I like the clean white look. Very clean and professional. However, if you do some vinyl art, I would suggest rather than just car silhouettes do some abstract cars in various stages of detail ie foam dripping off, ppf being laid, etc. Just a thought. Shop and CAP are awesome!
A good contractor would have known about the drain. build a storage area above your prep area for storage. if you have a exterior wall where your dryers are located core a hole through the wall
going up with the vent it will get clogged with lint and could cause a fire.
Next time Im in CHI-town, Im coming by!
Insulate the lines/// the hot water lines to the pressure washers. Will hold temps much better.
Um, yeah. I would love that!
#justkeephustling
What’s one tip you can give about starting your own mobile detailing
Putting some insulation on those pipes should help with the heat loss!
Congratulations ...
Aiman ibrahim from egypt. Detailer
Why not put some of that black foam insulation around your copper piping to the pressure washers? Simple stuff to put on. You buy it is cylindrical tubes and you just cut a slit down the one side of it and slip ip on the piping. Comes in various diameters/circumferences
I wonder what kind of traffic flow would you receive from you fitness equipment in a very small juice bar. Because now in days seems like there’s more people into their health regimen so why not get their vehicle detailed wow enjoying a nice exercise and a green smoothie
Idea for art for walls. Why not have a testimonial to your work Take pictures of all the exotic / high end cars you detail / restore frame them and put them on the walls. It's also a great reminder to your workers as to why you do what you do.
So no mention of that wrap on the NSX?!?
yeah copper loses a lot of heat. if you haven't already, you should insulate those hot water pipes
Question, who did you tattoo sleeve?
I want to drive there from toronto
Mind blown!😳Do you still have 2 shops??The wall needs a giant pic of Tadas buffing on it!
Yes, we still have our other shop in Glenview.
I agree on Marybeth idea 😎👍
Love the videos!! I'm from San Diego CA. but on the white walls you should do 1 graffiti wall. Local art or your logo.
antonie jackson already been looking into it 😉
Crazy question but what is the name of the song and artist starting at 2:05? Awesome song
what is the chemical system that you have?
Love the meeting table, great job 👍🏼
13.500 se foot is the working area or total shop space ?
Thank you for the inspiration 🙏🏻
Total space including office space and kitchen.
Thank you!
Try insulting the copper pipes you might be able to prevent some of the heat from leaving
I want to come work for you guys!!!!!!!
I’m curious what caused you to double your budget?
What was that contraption on your orange shop vac near the floor cleaner?
Video coming soon
Nice shop. I’m 10 minutes away
It would be awesome to have you guys detail my car but I'm in Pennsylvania 😔
How about iconic Chicago city landmarks for your graphics?
I love that idea.
Foam insulate your copper pipes bro
do you rent that place?
Why not put side on the washing area. You know just 3 little walls around the black area you are washing in ? :D Great video by the way, and nice shop.
Hot water heater lol. It's a water heater. You wouldn't need to heat hot water FYI.
I thought you guys were in chicago...
Please do graffiti designs on some of those white walls!
So do you guys have 3 shops now or 2?
2 shops, We just upgraded our Glen Ellyn location
*Looks like A LOT of OVERHEAD I don't know if it's even complete no flow from a customer's perspective ps I can't stand Rainforest Cafe dirty fake plastic leaves here in SoCal OC here.*
Shit that’s damn near perfect, follow me on Instagram @ExoticShineFL
Been waiting for this damn shop to finish haha
Vacancy for you're company. I want job you're company
Nice shop however too much overhead for my liking...im 100% mobile and besides chemicals I am running a 99% profit rate!
So you don't pay taxes, insurance, gas, maintenance, repairs on your vehicle, registration, tags, business license, tools, or for equipment? What happens if you get sick and can't work?
Terrible architect.
okay, thanks for watching.
