One of my fav all time movies is Gypsy ‘83, it’s kinda under the radar and so good, from 2001 with Sara Rue as a goth leaving small town America for NYC with her best goth friend, really recommend it. I’ve watched it a gazillion times 🖤
update!! i watched it last night and OMG i cried at least 3 times. that movie hit really close to home in sooo many different ways. and the "doing the unstuck" cure part has me bawlingggg that's one of my favorite songs!!! thank you so much for the recommendation!! its definitely one ld my new faves!
I have a huge CD collection as I have been buying them from artists I have enjoyed listening to for over 20 years. I'd definitely love to see your CD collection! I buy physical copies of music whenever I can. It supports the artists more, and you actually own a piece of wonderful music media. I have a few on vinyl, but I need a new turntable badly. Bandcamp is great for newer goth and goth adjacent artists. Can't wait for the video!
Same here. Mostly I have horror soundtracks/film scores and some Goth Rock and box sets, such as Sisters of Mercy. Not too many though as I'm much more into cinema and original horror film posters (no shitty reproductions). So now its a heaven of Blu-ray & also 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray for me. So cool that you support the artists.👍🦇🎃🦇
From Hell is a really good movie that I totally forgot about… thanks for the reminder! I have a ton of cd’s since I’ve always been a huge music lover but I kinda stopped buying them once they really died out… and I think I was one of the last ones still buying them lol. Most of them are 80’s metal lol since that was my vibe at the time. I recently started to collect vinyl again too since everyone is really bringing that back. I also need a new record player… mine’s in storage and I’m pretty sure it doesn’t work. Anymore I listen to a lot of electronic/synth music and I love the concept of listening to very high tech music on vintage equipment… kinda seems wrong in the best of ways 😂
From Hell is a great early '2000s graphic novel/horror thriller. The Hughes brothers were amazing '90s film makers that are sadly under talked about these days. If that film gets a 4K remastered as a physical media collector, I'll certainly pre-order it.👍🎃

I grew up with VHS and I kinda liked the plastic clamshell cases. They had a distinct smell to them that reminds me of childhood.
