This deck is really good out of the box its probably the closest thing to what wotc wants to make commander decks to be. Playable with a solid theme right out of the box. And it doesn't take a lot of upgrades to bring it to being a 6 or a 7 so highly recommend to newer players. Had a blast playing it
@@bloombergvo959 so you have scales from 1 to 10 10 being competitive and 1 being dog shit. 6 would be a focused deck and 7 would be a focused deck with a clear win con and strategy to get there.
Just Simic doing what Simic does: having cool wacky creatures, giving you more lands and cards, sea monst....wait what are the Eldrazi doing here? Great stuff.
Yeah this deck awsome few upgrade to make more seamonster theme my buddy just wash away ppl if can slow him down at right time its gets out of hand with mass bounce.
Is this deck based the same like the tatyova benthic druid commander deck im very new and that card brought me here im trying to buy a decent deck thats not expensive saw a good tatyova benthic druid commander sismic for a good price in Texas
@@TheSushiandme how?! Not even a filter land! Poopoo mana base...most of the cards aren’t worth that much at all...and they aren’t even doing four sets of commander decks-just two to pop out of the box and fight against! Used to be we got four and they were well balanced to fight amongst themselves!!
@@thomaskiser3886 you have been the only person I have seen that hates the new commander decks, I bought the Land's Wrath from Zendikar Rising and played at my LGS for the first time, over a night of 4 or 5 games I won one of them, $20 upgrade later and I won 2 of the 5 games we played the following week, these decks are insanely fun to play with, and they are competitive considering the price, I believe any pre-con in MTG is more steered towards beginners and new players, if you are looking into these for card values and to play against $500 decks then you are looking at the wrong place...
@@liamlyda2116 Having bought multiple commander sets for years-as four decks that are great fun to open and play against your friends...I liked when they released four decks to play with people as opposed to these two decks of same thing and and then two decks for legends. I think EDH decks are the best thing wizards put out-competitive enough to play against really expensive decks-but I like when four people can play four decks made to play against each other with a slew of cards as opposed to two decks crafted together. I am playing commander for multiplayer not one on one. Like usually one commander release has a theme and that was the fun part about having four seemingly themed decks to play with even power amongst friends.
@@Gangdump These decks can contain any cards they like (pretty much anything goes in Commander!), though they tend to have more from the set they're associated with.

Newbie here. Would love it if you could clarify what you mean by 6 or 7… thanks!

@@bloombergvo959 also glad to help. I'm glad to see people starting mtg and commander
I love the power of the ocean in this deck

Think you very much for this vid

Not gonna happen, sorry.
Yeah there are some cards in this deck that I've been after I just bought it today and I want to test it against the lord windgrace deck
Thanks man I'm a starting player and I'm still deciding my first deck this was a very helpful video I am going to get this deck

Best deck unboxings!
I find both decks good but which one would you suggest? Arm for battle deck or reap the tides one?
I think Reap the Tides looks more fun👍
Isn't armed for battle the boros voltron deck?
Is this deck still good? Forest/Island is my favorite combo!
It's not a contender in cEDH, but still perfectly fine for casual play.
@@MTGUnpackedsweet thank you

I'm kinda impressed by these decks.
Cheers to WOTC.
Yup, wizards is being very generous. Mtg gonna be like Pokémon lol

I'm trying to decide to get the reap the tides deck or the tyranid swarm. What do you recommend?
You can't go wrong with either, though the Tyranid one is typically double the price.
I have this one and it's reeeeally cool :3
What is your preference? These decks or the Zendikar Rising commander decks?
This one is my favourite of the bunch.
does jewel lotus have a chance being pulled?
No, there are no random cards in this deck. They're all exactly as shown in this video.
@@MTGUnpacked awwwww...
Hi Mr unpack, where is that case opening?
It's open and boxes have been opened😉
@@MTGUnpacked Hello! I have a few questions. First, I heard that the Aesi foil sometimes was curled upon opening. Did that happen to you?
@@pigeon8196 Did you watch the video?🤔
I saw this deck at a store for $25 and on amazon its $37 so im getting it
What set is this deck associated with?
Commander Legends
I guess I mean are they part of the zendikar, m21 core, kaldheim or is this seperate from any other lore set? Sorry I noob 🐣
@@Gangdump These decks can contain any cards they like (pretty much anything goes in Commander!), though they tend to have more from the set they're associated with.
Does commander legends have a bundle???
No
Nice
Do they still sell this one? This is broken.
Still available online for a decent price, and possibly at local game stores.
So, I am from the future, and heard these decks sucked, and I know they do, but they look really fun, so I think I'm gonna get them.
