This is my favourite place in the world!

Facing SW, if there is any swell this beach will have a wave*
*they may not be good waves, but it will have a wave.

Aphrodite's Bay (not in the video)
Pink Granite (tidal) quarry
and a notorious sand dune
02:10 The Wildlife
Wallabies
Coastal bird life
Aussie critters (bees & snails)
Easter Barred Bandicoot (Forgot to mention this)
Shearwaters (mutton birds)

The water (rips, currents, waves, shifting sandbars)
Dangerous clifftops
The sand dune
Woolamai Surf Beach is part of #capewoolamai on #phillipisland within the #basscoast council.
The surf, the cape and all the wildlife make this place special, but it's important to be conscious of the dangers so you can get the most out of your next visit to Woolamai Surf Beach.
04:24 New direction

I still remember treating a spinal injury from the sand dune and trying to get them to an ambulance all while a mass rescue was happening on the surf beach.
❤
hey man, have you heard of Melbourne's secret inland surf spot??
Its a beautiful place, really special, but it is open ocean and can get very powerful, use caution
Somedays it’s closer to a washing machine than a beach.
It's ok and dangerous. 1980 victim. Ha.
Another major reason to surf there,
So you don't crowd up the other beaches and ruin our freedom. Please, all Victorians stay in Victoria!
