I live in the United States, and I very much doubt a non-city worker would choose to tackle that without pay. To offer your services for improvement of city grounds speaks highly of one's character and work ethic. Thank you!
As you said you live in USA, the loyalty some gave to their City ,Country would surprise you, many Australian and New Zealand Eric's sure do go he extra mile , during Autumn/ Fall, I take my take to the road side and clear gutters and drains, now grass berms outside my property
Oh my word Nathan, I can’t believe the city has neglected that corner for so long. Shame on them. Also that lawnmower of yours is the bomb for getting through that horrendous growth!!! Good on ya, bless you! From Ontario Canada
That mower is a total beast! And for you to look at that and say you can take care of it - amazing! Looks like the yard on that corner needs you too! 😊😂❤
You have proven that tackling these small/smaller neglected areas are really important. This one is in quite a high traffic spot. Thank you for your great work. A bonus for making sure the street drain was also cleared. :) Nice job.
Should've asked Tim the Lawnmower Man if you could borrow his flail mower for that job. It's a monster of a thing. Would've gone through that mess like a hot knife through butter!
The city is soooo big … they don’t have enough staff to sort the over growings … maybe the city councillors & mayor shd do it to help look after there city. Good work Nathan
Brother, I admire your work and tenacity. Was a whipper snipper or a brush cutter out of the question? Was this a test of shear fortitude of a push mower? Were those weeds or steel fence posts? Questions man, I have questions!! Lol😂
@@nathanslawnsandgardens I’m from the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 and we have this exact problem all over and the council doesn’t even care about it thay send a team out to cut the grass they think they are Michael Schumacher they race round and cut corners and see grass like that and say my grass mower can’t handle that and they will move on
Talk about obstacles, I couldn’t see how your mower could cut through that tall grass. I have always been told the nature strip is council owned however most homeowners regularly mow when doing their lawns. The council need to be notified ad the pavement was obstructed, there was a stop sign that could barely be seen and you should let them know. Saying that, well done, a great community effort, thank you 👏🤗 from Geelong, Victoria
Fantastic job! Not only does it look great but it will be safer for drivers to be able to see around that corner now, and for people to walk on that sidewalk.
The council should be absolutely discussed with themselves for allowing the weeds and grass for getting out of control. Send them the bill for your time and fuel!! Shame on them.
Really enjoy watching these videos because I do very similar stuff to this and I was wondering wouldn’t it be quicker if you used a ride on mower, or is that to difficult to use, considering the places you work?
Well done Nathan. Since you work so close to traffic I wish you would wear brightly colored shirts for safety. Also a plus you will stand out on your videos. ❤❤IMHO
Its the job Vickies were made for bringing the hidden jungles down to size, sharp blade and push speed appreciated by the traffic as no hidden danger there now.The width of road is clear and drain can work properly too.
Hey mate, yes unfortunately council have left this one. My opinion is they should of been into this ages ago because it blocks the view of traffic, mums with prams can’t use the pathway which it’s is ment for and it’s just way to overgrown. Anyway it’s done now and my lawnmower had its work cut out for it
Good job!!! Now people can see the traffic and pedestrians have somewhere to walk! (On a side note anyone notice how many people didnt stop at that stop sign? The police would have a feild day with this video. Hahah)
Nathan amazing difference! Do you have a hemet with a strong visor….? there could have been so many dangerous things in there….glass metal. Take care of your precious self. You are 🔥🔥🔥
Australian councils are a disgrace. They seem to care more about political activism nowadays than doing their core job, which is their only reason for existing in the first place.
I'm curious to know which area this is. You do a brilliant job and deserve more than just a thanks. Most people would run a mile from this sort of hard work, Council obviously has! hehehe 😆All the best! 👍👍
No one used it so nobody called city after awhile. Neglected. They don’t put public service messages of overgrown, abandoned or negligent on local news. And show the houses and owners as they should. That would be a great segments for the local new networks. And asking for volunteers or why city has not helped. Etc. that is basically what you are doing. And so god bless you.
Glad that you did this showing how lazy the local council it might just put them in the shame pages . I would l9ve to see what excuse they about this walk way . If the walk ways are all.like this then imagine what the roads and other infrastructure are like .
I have a great deal of respect for you. The fact that you care enough for your city to clean this shows good character.
Can’t believe the city allowed that to be like that. Top of a street- line of sight issues and it being a sidewalk too.
You did an awesome job. That growth was taller than you! ♥️👍

In the Great U.S of A a none city worker wouldn't have to, our city's governing body's are on the job
Main road, busy traffic,industrial/commercial units - it would be interesting to see why the Council responsible hadn't cleaned it up. Well done.

The Council should be ashamed of themselves!
The best part of this was that you attacked it with a little 22 inch push mower. Major props from Texas for that.
Now folks can see the intersection, thanks to you, Nathan.
Should've asked Tim the Lawnmower Man if you could borrow his flail mower for that job. It's a monster of a thing. Would've gone through that mess like a hot knife through butter!
Would've loved to see that! That flail mower is a beast 🔥

Situations like this only HIGHLITE the city's gross incompetence and complete negligence. Government is WORTHLESS.
the final cleanup is the best. good job!👍🇺🇸
That looks so much better! 👏🏼👏🏼
You and your mowers are amazing!!! Super Well Done Nathan!!! 🤩
I enjoy your videos immensely thank you 😊
Awesome results. You are terrific.
It’s so cool to watch your makeovers ! Best thing on social media
That’s like cutting down a hayfield with scissors!😁🤣🇨🇦Now everyone can see the STOP sign!

Looks like whatever is behind that fence needs tackled too.
As always you are a trooper!!! 🎉❤
Wow, that was the worst sidewalk I’ve ever seen. Amazing job Nathan, 5 stars ✨✨✨✨✨
@carolgadles7045 you’re the best
Unbelievable it could get so bad. Great job on the clean up!
Beautiful, job well done ❤
Fantastic job! Not only does it look great but it will be safer for drivers to be able to see around that corner now, and for people to walk on that sidewalk.
thank you!
Very disturbing that the city doe not maintain this small area!
Wow! Fabulous job. Looks amazing.
The city should upgrade your lawnmower and accessories. To go above and beyond 👍🏻
great job, rare to see someone caring these days
This doesn’t need a mower, it needs a priest.
Looks like a busy road and intersection, better get yourself a hi-vis vest before the next one like that. Great job.
Wow this was really bad! It had to of been a dangerous corner, it terrible the city allowed it to become so overgrown!
Looks so much better
Thank you for this one.
Amazing transformation!!!🤗🤩👍🎉🌟🥂
PG Tips what a job well done so needed 🙏🏻🙏🏻👍👍👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🏅🏅🏅
Nice job my friend, I am amazed that mower is still alive lol
The council should be absolutely discussed with themselves for allowing the weeds and grass for getting out of control. Send them the bill for your time and fuel!! Shame on them.
Thank you for this!! Is council responsible for the maintenance?

Good morning, Nathan, I cannot believe that is a council curb. How does your poor mower make it through. Cheers

Nathan = ❤❤❤❤❤
Looks great 😊
You need some Hi-vis workwear when you're that close to a busy street!
Nathan amazing difference! Do you have a hemet with a strong visor….? there could have been so many dangerous things in there….glass metal. Take care of your precious self. You are 🔥🔥🔥

Still waiting for that extreme indoor outdoor. Makeover for the guy in desperate need.!
Hey Nathan, is that on the corner of Parramatta Rd? You did an unreal job btw 😊
Great job, that was really out of hand!
What Suburb is it in Nathan? Name and shame the council. Great job you done bud.
Greenacre, Lidcombe areas are notorious for major overgrowth unfortunately 😐
I'm curious to know which area this is. You do a brilliant job and deserve more than just a thanks. Most people would run a mile from this sort of hard work, Council obviously has! hehehe 😆All the best! 👍👍
Never thought there were paths under all that overgrowth 😮
U need a much bigger Lawnmower! A BAD BOY!
