Do take the tape off straight away, then if you need to recoat, just go in with a fine brush and be very careful! Otherwise the tape may dry with the paint and pull paint off when removed.
Hi! It advises that your remove the tape as soon as possible, so the paint doesn't dry and peel off when you do remove the tape. I always remove it quite soon after painting and have never had any problems! X
