9:12 Chicken George! I thought I'd never seen them again. Thanks for posting all these good Baltimore memories!

As always, thank you for your channel. It is much appreciated 🤗
Chicken George's was my favorite chicken spot as a child. I loved stopping there with my mom after a day of shopping downtown. Their dirty rice was the nest and no one else's has come close tik this day(to me at least). Mary Pat Clarke was my city council representative for many years. That little lady worked relentlessly for her community.

Security square mall used to be a fun place but it has gone downhill

It went downhill since, maybe, 2000 and it hasn't recovered. The mall management hasn't been keeping up with the competition and, alongside, the anchor department stores going bankrupt, many malls have been struggling.
Mondawmin is still a prime locale for the city (hood 🤷🏾‍♂️) and Owings Mills redeveloped their site in 2018 & has since been booming, so Security Square has to move on from the "mall" aspect and become an outlet.
The bright side is: Crime is at an all time low for the mall since it's near empty 4 days outta the week

I can tell you right now The Holmes was bringing in waaay more than 2 stacks a day. If you do the math that ain't nothing in a project building like that. I knew people on Edmondson Ave getting close to 100 stacks so 2 a day in the projects was a lie. 😅😅😅

It's a very hood, ghetto and violent city. May I also add it's a filthy and disgusting drug culture of addicts everywhere you turn. I was finally able to relocate out of there with my life still intact recently.

Name 10 large American cities where this SAME EXACT or WORSE behavior doesn't happen (especially in the 80s). Name the # 1 city with the BEST SEAFOOD EVER! "BALITMORE!" I was just there recently for a game and dinner, it was awesome. There are blocks of the most luxurious and beautiful brownstone homes ever. Every city has its problems and Baltimore is no exception, but a RUclips video probably isn't the best source to get facts, both the good and the bad.
