I have managed 4 full Swedish regiments and 2 units of cavalry all complete and based. Still lots of spruces to go. Yours are looking great. I pant them in between other projects.

They look superb. Nice work, totally understand the burnout issue. I found the same thing doing epic Napoleonic Prussians. I ended up doing a couple of 28s for every regiment of epic.

Magnificent! While you can do these quickly, your results speak for itself. I understand the burn out. Do your palate cleanser with 28mm like you said, then come back to the Imperials!

Looking great and I know how it feels to get burnt out on these,the sprue pile is ever growing 😉
Thank you. I notice taking alot of smaller breaks while painting really helps. Insted of a " long " break. Take many small insted. Fresh you mind and you back at the table with more energy, not to get burned out too fast.

and i understand about the burn out! that is why i mix it up between 40k figures, 1/700 scale ships! 28mm historical figures and now epic 30 years war and Napoleonic troops and terrain! notice terrain is last as i really hate to do it even thought it is needed for any wargaming!
Think it is good to have some new projects to jump between. It should always feel " FUN" to do the hobby. Taking breaks is also importaint. Or it is easy to get burned out. 😀
Nice, but the musketeers are packed too close. I'd hate to be that tight to somone with a lit match carrying powder
Thank you. Agree, those matchlock could blow up in your face anytime. Like a 360 degree shotgun. I will get some figures from steel fist miniatures and mix in solo musketeers in the ranks too. 😀
Att snabbmåla dessa är verkligen att rekommenderas eftersom det är mer fokus på helheten än enstaka figurer. Ett tips är att grunda i svart, och sedan enbart måla en highlight men lämna svart i alla vrår, som i denna video t ex:

Exakt helheten! Bra video, ska verkligen testa detta på Imperial army. Nästan så jag ha lust att bara dra en stor roller över hela arme´n. Tack för tipset. Nu kanske jag orkar plöja igenom Imperial army. Och det snabbt.
They look great! What's been your method for painting these? I just painted one regiment and I'm feeling the same. I almost wonder if it's best to prime black and just dot the colours?
Thank you. My method has been the same as for 28mm. And that is where my problem is I belive. I take to much time on every little detial. Prime black and just dot the colours sounds like a much better way to paint these small figures. Im going to try that on the Imperial army. Thank you for the suggestion.
