I can’t tell you how many times I have recently heard the words “you need to remove that person from your life”. Not from seeking it out either. It just pops up in videos I watch. Over and over again in the last couple weeks. I don’t know if this is a message for me. I have had to remove a significant someone from my life and have recently been struggling with that decision; even though I did it over a year ago. Acting on this, is very very hard. I know my stress is lower because of it, but damn, it’s hard. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
Momma, Grit takes many forms. You've raised and homeschooled 7 children and put up with dear Dwayne for 30+ years. (Please forgive me if I got any of those facts wrong. I'm recalling a video you and Dwayne did together.) You absolutely have grit! I love hearing your insight. I really enjoy Dwayne's videos. He fills a big need in the world today and it's partly your influence that has made him so impactful. Just know that some of us realize that. You compliment one another. I think your channel brings a lovely balance for those of us who watch you both. Thank you and best wishes.
So inspiring, Momma! Grit & Grace needs to be on a T-Shirt! I’m 57 and trying new things myself. My challenge this year is to start my own horsemanship journey. Thank you. ❤ 😊
I'm so glad I found your, and Dewayne's, channel. I'm a 28 year old woman who's been struggling a lot with life, and y'alls advice is some of the best I've heard. I've needed to hear a lot of this, and I appreciate y'alls channels so much. I don't have many people in my life to talk to about my struggles, but listening to y'all is like having someone I can talk to and get advice from 💙
So glad you are not camera shy anymore. I was in the 1st class in May of 2022 and you voiced preference to being the camera operator. Excellent job your doing there! Love the videos and I’m sharing them. My daughter gets a lot out of your “Momma” advice. Both of you are people I believe the good Lord had me cross paths with. PS: (Ya got to do that sourdough biscuit video for us when you can)
Momma I needed this message today. I'm crying because I need to leave the abusers behind. I spent my life as a single mom working 3 jobs with no child support but spent Christmas beat up. I look at my skin with its bruises. I need to just leave. I'm going to cry off this and start over on my own. Tomorrow is a new year.
You can do this! You are a strong and beautiful woman and you can accomplish anything you put your mind to. Sometimes we have to close the door to the past before we can open the door to the future
I gained grit when I found out I can , at well over 50 and having been born a towny with no ranch experience. I was also a vegan and a raw vegan for more than 15 years....then I went ke-toe and Carni and I was milking cows on a milk share farm and it took off from there. so for the last 5 years I was raising my own food and slaughtering it myself as well.....I stopped last fall when hay production fell so far that I could not afford a doubling of the price and availability was not there...even at double price....I filled the freezer, sold and re homed the base breeding herds, and sold for slaughter on my land the rest. kept most of the hides for tanning....and that is that. Grit is where you find it and how you are able to cultivate it. God Bless You ..DR. Momma
Your message came across. You and your husband put across the most beautiful, heartfelt, home-y vibe across the distance.. and I'm grateful. Not many places or people on earth offer such warmth and welcome. God bless you. And I second wanting to see that sourdough biscuit recipe!
Great video! You are doing a great job with your channel as is Dwayne. You both are prime examples of wisdom & knowledge. We love & appreciate you both. Yes mam, Grit & Grace are a perfect combination and awesome traits to have. Take care. 😇🙏🏻😇🙏🏻

Wow, you were describing my 15 year old daughter. She's an only child, we're older parents. I'm at the point where I need to push her some, but she also needs grace. This was really simple, really needed advice. Thank you!
Even if it wasn't your specific intention, your marriage counsel is good and sound. 6:30 to 8:03 does indeed sometimes happen...in marriage as well as other familial and friend relationships, and even with animals/pets. Thanks for sharing. Thanks for caring. Thanks for being you.
Good video, I'm glad you are on here. I always had grit with the horses, but people, I'm not so good at that. I might have to much grace with people, sometimes I don't know when to say ENOUGH
Good Morning Mamma 😇 first of all I love your Jacket ! And second of all , great video on handling each situation with individual Horse’s Needs ! Please Keep sharing your wisdom and encouragement. You are using your gifts to change lives . 💜 Laura 💜 Bear 💜 Willow 💜🐴
Appreciate your words. I found your husband's channel first and have enjoyed the wisdom. Your words are encouraging. I think could use grit and grace as a mom (teenager and pre-teen). Definitely need grit and grace with some people I just can't bear to be around but will have to. Thanks for the sound words. 😊 ❤️
I've enjoyed your expertise 🥰 your knowledge thank you. I like this message you put on today that I seen , and I truly believe the same way. No use to have toxic people or family on our path that don't respect our point of view. I just disconnect, because that's the only way. I have enough issues I have to deal by my self and I just can't let that toxicity in my life. Thank you mama creek. Just love your kindness, humble, and motherly ways. Take care you and family. Love from Phoenix Arizona ❤️
Toxic people aren't just people who are mildly irritating or boisterous. They are people who try to destroy or damage you, people who poison your life. Real grit means removing them from your life, and grace means praying for them to have a change of heart at the deepest level. God changes people's hearts, not us. First time I’ve heard you speak at any length and I enjoyed hearing your message. I’m still working on this aspect. Im able to withstand some things but not others. Knowing where to draw that line is the hard part for me. My tendency is to cut things off short. I’m working on it. 😊

It was the same for me for years & years! Both are important! We have to set boundaries and take care of ourselves just as much as we do others! I had to learn the hard way to not be a pushover and a people pleaser and let people walk all over me, but in the process of getting grit I didn’t want to become a mean jerk! Every day I challenge myself first thing to balance my Grit & my Grace! 🙂
Thank you Deanna for sharing this message, your words were very timely for me. It's a good challenge. Thank you for the practical example and also loved how you worded it.
This was such an interesting concept, and definitely something I will keep in mind while interacting with the people around me. I've had difficulties getting along with, and feeling comfortable around, other people -- maybe in part due to being in a community where I did not fit in. So, I found myself constantly feeling like people should be able to see MY side of the story, or at least they would understand if I told them. Unfortunately, life doesn't always work like that. Someone might simply be in too different headspace to really understand your perspectives, and vice versa. Lately, I've found that I don't push people to see things my way like I used to. I'm more open to that we all have our individual journey, and the best course of action is to support each other to the best of our abilities. I guess one could say I'm learning to exercise grace.
What A beautiful video! this lesson truly resonated with me. I've never thought about grit and grace as a pair before and now that you have explained the importance of the two, it all just makes sense. Especially when you connect it with the people in one's life. Thank You Dry Creek Mama for your wisdom!

ive taken your first videos advice with that grit and grace thing.. there really is something to that. im currently really busy giving my brother tons of grit but it started with grace, with that i was able to open him up and just lay into him and tell him about how hes messing things up. im doing a different mixture at my job theyre just working me so hard and everyone around has their head up in the clouds, i cant turn around without someone creating a problem, but when i apply grit and grace, i get the opportunity to be heard and i get the acknowledgment that they do know about it all. now things hasnt been improving a whole lot yet but things are crystal clear and i get to hold my head up high knowing that im doing the right thing. awesome video!!

I am really curious about this situation with Tia and the herd. She seems to content to be displaying blood letting dominant aggression issues.
A long lenses camera set up to watch herd behavior for “Who Done It” sign would get my vote of a 25 Dollars contribution. Okay, 50 bucks, I’m getting excited.
Deep in the primordial recesses of the folds lies the Trinity of Tia’s Spirit.
“It might be time to bust open a couple of caps,” the Armory Chief said to the Negotiating Officer.
“Not Yet, Gunny, this is minor.”
After a brief pause she set her binoculars down and said, “Okay, just a shot over the bow, a couple capillaries and a kick to the kneecap is all.”
Tia executed the message and the problem might be getting right, now.
Keep watching, it’s the best part.
