Too often kdramas stick female leads in between 2 men when they don't care about 1, yet they allow misunderstandings to happen and people to be noble idiots. I feel like Moon Soo is finally speaking up on behalf of all female lead and noble idiots everywhere lol. Also lmao I thought it was cute how she got mad that he didn't come after her, I also like how she is expressing herself. It's interesting because previously this character wasn't good at expressing herself to others, she'd keep things in when upset. But it seems like she's comfortable enough with Kang Doo to get mad at him and tell him her true feelings. She's not this open with anyone else and I think that's really telling of how important Kang Doo is to her life.
That's survivors guilt. Gong Do isnt having a misunderstanding except in what he deserves overall. Gong Do isnt doing this because he thinks she likes the CEO. He knows she doesnt like the CEO. That is why he scoffed when he heard she thought about him with the CEO. Moon Soo isnt suppose to be strong just numb. She always stepped down from what she wanted until she met Gong Do. Gong Do always felt his life was worthless and what he wants is below what others want ...Moon Soo will break that. -Gang Do is making her break out of her numbness and speaking for what she wants. -Moon Soo will eventually make him break out of his guilt and start going for what he deserves.

The reason he's pushing her away is because he feels that the CEO is a better person than him and that she deserves someone better. So it's like an inferiority complex created because of his survivors guilt. This can again be seen when Kang Doo says things like "my time is trash," or "I can't do anything, I don't even have an education," and etc. Moon Soo has the difficult job of telling him that he's actually a great guy. Moon Soo also has the exact same guilt. She thinks she's a bad person because she "let" her sister and first love die when in actuality it isn't her fault.

For once the guy is not a chaebol nor the lady too poor, or better still the lady not an heiress and the guy just Sam poor dude.. rather a realistic drama of two people in our day to day life telling us, love doesn't always happen between sam rich guy Nd Sam poor lady or vice versa.

Her Parents are the worst parents, they lost their one daughter that does not mean they have to make another daughter's life hard. They do not give her happiness but they block the happiness she finds by herself in the name of "for her good".
