Hello it's first time crushed here, already watch solo leveling and came to watch some reaction... So far i like your reaction the best. Its really interesting to see other perspectives of people who never read the manhwa or novel and just jump into in wondering what we gonna get. I really like how you take your time and trying to figure it out what the story about, what the rule of this anime and the lore behind it.

One of the first Korean works I finished, very good within the genre, apparently the anime will do it justice.
It's pretty controversial especially since Korea is pretty openly anti-japanese (which. Yeah) and it shows in a ton of popular work, often portraying the prejudice between countries and portraying japanese people as villains or double-crossers or such. A big plot point of solo leveling in the future as well is pretty adamantly. Meant to be anti-japanese hunters
the medieval armors as you is embued with magic. the more great or advance the armor is the more expensive it is. thats why lower rank opted to bought lower type of armor.

they just dont expect to die since clearing Dungeon level D or E is just another day. we viewers knows what to expect ans ofcourse we think that they will die.
the clothing does matter the reason some don’t wear the medieval clothing is simply bc they don’t afford it or they have clothing made
with the spoils of the dungeon

It's Korean. They gladly use the Korean names for this anime. So thumps up.
The starting of this is not like the chapter of the manwha, for that you get world exposure. As for the portal thing, it is sadly to shortly explained. They pop up all around the world (10 years before present ago the first), the bigger they are (also have ranking), the more time is to subjugate the boss of the other side to close them, but when it runs out, it will break open and let them spill into the human world (what happend on the start at the JeJe island you get to see - this actually comes up later). When they put in the exposure they should have dropped at least some comparison money wise what an essence stone is worth.
Don't be confused because this S-Rank jumps a bit around. When an E-Rank is a couple times stronger than a normal human, and the scale is exponentially even jumping around for an S-Rank non physical combat character is inhumanly if he so chooses. That is also why his E-Rank dagger gives up so fast confronted with what the one class higher D Rank Goblin in the dungeon goes with.
I kinda get the worldbuilding beforehand, but then you could have made it better. Many things should be explained down the line, if they stick to the script. When they do reordering and stuff I don't know how well that will go. This also is the problem why everybody thinks they should have followed protocol with the second dungeon. Well they should have, but... But to be fair they think it is just a .5 higher dungeon in the dungeon and they have a B Rank healer with them and the guy lighting up the tunnel if I remember correctly is a C-Rank fire mage. So technically they are not underranked for a half step up in dungeon classification.
Given the current anime like Frieren, JJK etc. and so on the animation looks a bit on the weaker side. But maybe we are just spoiled by the last great animes.
Yeah it is only episode one who knows how the animation will continue throughout, we'll just have to see. Also my mistake on calling it Chinese, it was either Korean or Chinese I just didn't remember which

Yeah normally I would've used CR's translation, but the site was down for at least 30 minutes after the episode came out and I got impatient XD

@@bluestReacts My first minor twitch came from the fact that you said you didn't do do any research and then called it Chinease. The main issue though for me was the fact that you kept trying to compare their weapon and clothing to real world logic and fashion, the first thought that came to me was have you not played any mmo or watched any video game anime. To me none of those cloth looked medival even if you look at current armor designs in the modern world they haven't changed all that much. I just prefer people who don't start immediatly making comparisons. For example I'm sure many comic fans would get mad if I called iron man a batman rip off
@@2bleachfans yeah I apologize about the Chinese thing, see I try to into shows completely blind. So that typically ends up in me getting some details wrong as I’ve only heard minor rumors about series. So yes that is my mistake. As far as the clothing goes I was more or less attempting to rationalize its usefulness to myself more than anything. Thank you for the feedback though, I will take details such as immediate comparison into consideration going forward. :)
