@@WatchAdvisor Well, thank you first of all. You asked if I ever watched a Geosphere in a wrist-watch, and I must say that no like this way with that high artisan level. But in the other hand, I think that is very common to observe in digital wrist-watches. The purpose should be the same in both cases. Saludos!!
Alexander thank you so much for quality content you giving this industry new face Finally we could see bright CEOs and passionate people which create timeless beauty . You helped a lot to understand the core of this industry
Great in detail video I bought my first Mont Blanc 8 months ago, the nicholas rieusses and love it. The geo spheres are really nice and something very different. I think Mont Blanc and Minerva have a great future of making amazing pieces,Jeff.
Congratulations and thank you for sharing our passion! You first need to understand what Montblanc is doing in watchmaking to be able to appreciate it ... BRAVO!
Fed up with the oh a watch made by a high quality pen 🖊 manufacturer who cares?. Its beautifully made and a gorgeous piece , end of story , and thank you for another top quality video Sir 👍 Tam.
A great watch and thanks for the review - i'm very lucky to have the 1 of 858 geosphere ultra black that is stunning - i've added two white dots to the bezel by the North marker so I can use it as a conventional timing bezel.
I love the way mechanical watch companies look into new and interesting complications. Although this watch is unlikely to spend much time on my want list I can appreciate the thought and engineering know how that has gone into its creation. The twin hemisphere complication is great but like you Alexander my sight would not be able to appreciate the information they bring. The second 24 hour time is a very useful one as is the hour jump adjustment (why don't more manufacturers have this?) all good,. The compass marked bezel is of limited use other than set it to the orientation of the N mark on the top dial and align with the sun. Here in the UK cloud cover tends to be the norm a lot of the time so not easy to gauge but we have smartphones that can do all this for us, even telling the time allegedly :-) The rear of the watch looks fantastic. Unfortunately for me (fortunate for my wallet) I'm not in the market for a bronze timepiece at the moment but if I was I would certainly give this piece a second look.
Anthony it is a pleasure to read your personal summary! Montblanc is good in storytelling … that compensates the lack of horological heritage … once you plunge in the world of adventures this watch is really cool… There are also several other versions, I don’t know if you are aware …
@@WatchAdvisor Thanks Alexander, I agree this piece is like an adventure on the wrist. I'll need to find time to look at some of the other offerings from Montblanc. Recently I've been drawn more to simpler, arguably more classic watches, but I do not rule out any piece that catches my interest, classic or new, mechanical or otherwise. Thanks again Alexander.
Great review! Thank you for that. I am the owner of MB Reinhold Messner LE with the blue dial, but I have to say - this Gobi desert version with plastic hour indexes are much better then my printed. Black zero meridian is better as well - white zero meridian on my watch si hard to see. And caseback is absolutely amazing!

@@johnmcdonagh1607 Longines quality is amazing for the price. Especially the new "Heritage" stuff they are putting out lately. Cool watch but I’d rather like to see a remake of the Oysterquartz he actually wore on his Everest expedition 🤔 and regarding the names on the case back, this is the Messner version of the 7 summits (highest peak on each continent).

In the dark cannot tell time in southern hemisphere & have to kind of guess time in northern hemisphere, it's a cool watch for £6k I expect great attention to detail or I can spend a fraction of that price on something way cooler! Very beautiful watch, but not very practical and essentially an antique looking toy-jewerly for the grown man who wants to dress up as an explorer on Halloween. Ok, may be I would have been tempted if it had a running second, but I'll pass. Thanks for the review, though.
