Congratulations. Those chasis oscillations during the transition to flight are *interesting* . I guess you just transition thru that regime ASAP for now ? Hey for a first flight that was superb !
Vertical take off, and it looks like it can fly like a regular plane. Could be safer than current VTOL aircraft like the osprey. I can think of a few say search and rescue in remote areas or even fire response where this could be useful
@@Nomad47 This is a drone. It isn't carrying people, so safety isn't the issue. Clearly a lot of money has been invested into this, so there must be an actual use-case for it, I just don't know what it is.
@@sraldleif it can carry up to 200kg, fly up to 1,500km. It’s a loyal wingman for helicopters and can be fitted with a dipping sonar. Max speed 200knts and folds up into a 20ft container.
Very cool. Proud to have played even a small part in this project, keen to see it transition to forward flight!
Transitioning is the thing to do these days, it seems.
Congratulations.

Did this take place in Cunderdin
Should have called it the BOOMERANG 😅😊
awesome.
Sad the company is not Australian owned anymore !
Impressive. But why did you took for the first flight from such a dusty place?
What problem is this meant to solve?
It’s versatile, it can do many things.

@@lancebond2338 That's great, but what is the issue with existing drones that this is trying to solve?
