Ever notice how the team mate who is thrown out is usually the moral compass keeping the group from turning to evil.
Well do people really want a story about an evil piece of crap being kicked from the party for a good reason rising up and becoming more powerful? No, it's always a really nice person that was doing what they could and then you realize everyone's taking advantage of them later.
Rewards for deeds stories like these are pretty common in general.

@avancarr8690 To be fair, the party member could be a jerk that learns to be nicer. They aren't evil, but their personality clashes with everyone else.
And the party in question could be decent people that had a good reason for kicking out a member, but realize their mistake. The person in question doesn't have to get back with them, but they could at least reconcile.
Although I'm guessing this wouldn't be satisfying to the readers.
@@Theepieguy Actually I wouldn't mind a story where an MC is powerful and everone knows it, but gets kicked out of the party cause he's toxic af. and the the story is just him doing his own thing while throwing shade at everyone. and dumb stuff would happen like he ends up fighting the demon lord because he kept calling his daughter fat or something.

That's why she called him a coward.
Manipulations like this are all too common. If someone wants your behaviour to change they just make up their own rules for how you should act and judge you accordingly without holding themselves to the same standard. She could have called her team shortsighted for letting him go after one bad mission or cutting him off from rewards but she took no responsibility for camaraderie and just blamed him for walking away.

Definitely not a dense MC. He does admit not having much experience, but is not afraid to try.
At the same time, I got to give a equal props to Aria whom, while just as inexperienced, ACTUALLY CONFESSED and pays attention to his limitations; warding off her dad so he can focus on the demon king, intruding on admirers knowing he's in over his head, and I am guessing that she keeps him away from liquor and will become a shrewd negotiator if he chooses to take her along.
All in all, they are both rare characters to see in their own rights, but work so beautifully together.

Misha didnt really treat him bad she more or less was indiffrent, alot of her actions proved she had fellings for him just didnt know how to express them, even in the beging she just said ur leaveing just like that a cowards choice. The only mean/horribal ones were the hero and saint

To be fair Misha really didn't treat him as terrible as Eugene did, she didn't really treat him fairly either, so I am on the fence as well if he should or shouldn't have forgiven her, but at the end of the day it is easier to forgive her, but the Hero and Saint can rot in hell.
@@akumafangUh, her calling him a coward for leaving was pretty terrible (and made her look really stupid) given the party clearly wouldn't listen or care about his opinions, so she's really no better than the other two and just plain dumb on top of it. Also having the nerve to ask him if he's really not going to join again was beyond brain dead. Even if she likes him, that doesn't excuse her actions. Joined in with the other two at the start even when they were already not being very nice toward him, didn't stand up for him at all, wrongfully called him a coward for leaving an abusive party who doesn't want or care about him, and then really thought he would want anything to do with them anymore. I'm sorry, but she is not likable, and is written very poorly. The fact the author really expects us to pity her just infuriates me even more. Plus she does nothing to warrant the guy forgiving her. She also (spoiler) sticks with the party even after seeing how terrible they are constantly, and then has to get saved by the MC later in while all she really does is get into a fight with the main girl, who actually called her out by stating a mere sorry doesn't hand wave away what she's done, which is true.
Seems to me she wanted him to stand up and take charge. To realize that he has value and should be the leader and not the follower. But I can understand her being indifferent especially if he doesn’t realize his value and is just a door mat beta male. Women do not respect betas.
I’m Only half way through but it seems like he will realize his value and become an Alpha later on.
The fantasy part is him stumbling upon a book with all the answers.

Thats a refreshing change of pace, instead if being hellbent of his goal (he is still focused which is good). He gets overly flustered about normal stuff like this, its really cute and really refreshing.

I'd wager that the fruits only work up to x level, then become ineffective. Otherwise, every high-ranked party would be farming the treants, Since they don't, they must become useless to people at some point.
@@rickhirth5775 problem with that is everyone thought that monsters killed stayed dead but book showed otherwise. No one else but the heros group even tried to take it down.. they were not aware it could be revived, but with the book he did, but only once.
I thought the book said that it would keep coming back so he revived it and killed it in a way that makes it so it never comes back. I could be wrong but that was my understanding of the situation.

It's a loophole. He doesn't help in dangerous situations, and all he's really doing is giving information. Everything still has to be done by the reader, and it's on them to make full use of the book, which only a very few people can even read.
Part 2 please I really enjoyed this and it’s actually really good so I can’t wait for part two
So normally in these types of stories, the main character is a part of the “hero’s party” in the beginning, then get kicked out as suddenly becomes OP. I’d like to see a trope where perhaps the MC isn’t initially in the party, someone gets kicked out for being useless, then they join the party and it goes from there. Could be an interesting subversion on a trope quickly becoming worn out
Hmm… maybe sprinkle in a disfunctional party dynamic that the mc has to fix and help the party become better people and there’s a story

@@saber1776 looking at it again, at 4:27 it says monsters can revive as long as the demon king is alive and only if certain conditions are met.
But by that same logic, a monster can’t respawn unless conditions are met. And since this seems like some kind of quest/boss monster, presumably it’s unlikely to have easy conditions to respawn (or atleast won’t just be on a respawn timer).
Edit: either way, what bothers me most is that it’s a drop “chance”, on what seems to be a quest/boss monster (which are generally one and done).
How can it be a chance that this unique monster will drop something that it either does or doesn’t have on it? Is it that the item has a chance to spontaneously exist the moment the thing dies?
