Gus don’t play. He’s so strict, but silly at the same time. I always thought their relationship wouldn’t work, then Gus does something silly. 😹 And they seem like they’ve actually known each other forever.
I watch psych all the time, but nobody that I know is aware that it is even a show. All of the time and effort that they put into it, they deserve more credit.
I started watching this just recently and haven’t finished it yet but after watching the first couple of episode of psych, the sentence that pops up in My head to describe these two is “heterosexual life partners.” Just like Bert and Ernie and jay and silent Bob, Shawn and Gus are now in the bestest of best friends hall-of-fame for me. I more interested in their friendship and Shawn and his fathers relationship then the actual romance between Shawn and o’hara.
The best thing is that the show never treats the friendship as less important or on a lower emotional level than romantic storylines, which happens so rarely

Any show which does a mini-Clue reunion is clearly underrated.
