Just went to el nido recently. Taraw peak is close as of june 29, 2022. It did not passed safety requirements for tourism set by gov as per locals. Though Taraw canopy is open.
Correct, they closed it. As per the locals though, they might open back up by August, they are just finalizing the fees to charge the guests 🥴 The LGUs have not ever recommended climbing there in the first place. Yes, the Canopy Walk is open!
When you go on island hopping, you may ask the tourguides there. Sometimes, they also bring people at Taraw! I also have a few friends who do. If you have IG, I can connect you to one 🙂 @manilenyasaisla
Ganda po sa taas, tanggal lahat ng hingal. Balik hingal nga lang po ulit sa pagbaba pero masarap iderecho na ng dagat pagkatapos! 😎 Thank you for dropping by!
As of May 2022 - the locals said that the local brgy closed Taraw Cliff temporarily until they come up with a standardized fee. 🤷🏽♀️ The Canopy Walk trail is still open though.
Tip is to ask your boat guides as well! Usually sila sila lang din ang naggguide sa Taraw. But I have friends that I trust na nagga-guide din! Shoot me a DM in IG: @manilenyasaisla so I can refer you to some!
Because I can 😉 lol Kidding aside, the sandals i’m using was locally made using truck tires and have tried them on a lot of other places (even river trekking with slippery rocks) so my confidence level on wearing them on this hike is to the roof!

I’m here sa El Nido today. Plano ko sana mag Taraw Peak ngayon. Watching this, narealize ko di ko pa ata kaya 😩😱
Haha! You may try the Canopy Walk muna para beginner-friendly at may mga harness and helmet 🙂
Is it really hard? I’m just a casual hiker. Don’t do moutaineering but I work out 😅 kakayanin ko kaya to? Haha
If you work out then i think you can do this! 💪🏾
@@manilenyasaisla alright. Thank you miss maam.

How long the hike is? It will take you how many hours?
Depending on your pacing, probably an hour or two. 🙂
Went in 2019 but would not do it again. Very dangerous
Yes it is, especially for those inexperienced in hiking!
Hello ms angel, may i know how much nagre range ung guide fee for taraw hike.
You may get guides na magsasabing “bahala na po kayo” hehe but some guides would charge more of less ₱500 per head.
@@manilenyasaisla thank you po sa info!!!

Pag isipan ko ulit. Natrauma ako sa mga poops na nahawakan ko eh 😂

Yes, pretty nice lalo ‘ung view! Worth it ang pagod. 🙂 Thank you for watching!
Waiiit. You are telling people it is dangerous. Yet you are hiking in sandals? 😅
Because I can 😉 lol
