The expedition is welcomed in Gilgit, by the Political Agent Khan Mohd. Jan Khan, who garlands them. Street scenes in Gilgit. At the Political Agent's residence, the leader is presented with a 'Furgal' (a long warm coat). Gilgit Scouts Band plays.
In Karachi, at the Governor-General's home, Mr Ghulam Mohammed decorates members of the expedition. Members sign autographs.
