Queek winning eight peeks is gold. All as it should be. And skaven doing their own thing instead of slaving for chaos is perfect for them, as they always were on their on side. With this one side having 10 other sides happily murdering eachother but still.
im totally on board with assassination being the way to go for Thorgrim, but something I always thought was a bit lacking in the endtimes is the lack of time spent on how all these eshin and servants of tzench got in positions to do their deeds now. Just seemed like an easy wave of why x y or z was taken out.
Id personally like there to have been an actual plan or series of steps that Snikch had to take to finally get to his assassination So it seems like its a real achievement.
Given more time, I could have gone into detail on Snikch as a whole, as he was the skaven I was thinking of making a POV for this video. Definitely agree though that it makes more sense if you can see the plan of assassination in action. In this version, it was more that Snikch saw his chance when Thorgrim believed he'd routed all the rats
Well, this is much better than the skaven just suddenly uniting. For them this alone feels like unreasonably thick plot armor. Also I see what you did here with redirecting Grimgor.

Skaven are such a great race, but the Endtimes really just ruined everything cool about them. So it's great that you rewritten them so they become the great power they should have been. Though the Skaven would never join Chaos, only the Skaven should be victorious. Thankfully that ending made me happy, the Horned Rat's chosen stand alone!
They have the numbers and strength to stand alone, it's really only the ordertide that needs to unite imo
This is before I finish the video but the one problem I had with the end times was the skaven joining chaos. It made no sense, to me.
Well there is precedent in that The Skaven, under the rule of their god The Horned Rat, were _always_ a “Chaos” faction at it’s foundation, with them even having their own Greater Daemons in the form of Vermin Lords. It’s just that, as a “Minor” god in the same vein as Ursun, The Horned Rat had no business in the main four’s Great Game, and so The Skaven were largely left to their own devices until the end of the world where they HAD to choose a side or get mulched in final the battle between good and evil… And everyone’s smart money was (rightfully) on Chaos.
@@ButFirstHeLitItOnFire Everyone's smart money was on literally anyone else because chaos sucks but GW wanted to kill the setting.

Imho, end times skaven shouldn't be united.
Yes, their god is here and gave them a task, but that shouldn't change the fact that every skaven wants all the glory of every victory and none of blame of any failure
True, in this video I tried to portray them as under the guise of unification. They don't really know what that means and will likely try and make more shadowy plays to bring each other down
personally, i think its fair they are somewhat united because 2 major clans have been seriously weakened in lustria, so the amount of infighting that can happen is limited. mix that with the winds of magic acting up weird because of it being the end of the world which causes the horned rat to finally decide to tell his stuipid rats to actually stop fighting for 3 minutes.
i still think its fair that despite their LITERAL GOD telling them to unify they barely did it and the council of 13 was about to do its own shit until they realized the dwarfs were weakened.
@@sovietunion7643 The Skaven will always do as they have always done imo, and I did want them 'uniting' but I didn't want them steamrolling everything in this rewrite

Thank you! It seems to be their main motif. Not quite the end for them as we'll hopefully be able to round the final moments out with future videos

A chaos dwarf and Beastmen lore rework would also be cool both were absolutely useless for chaos they even made chaos look weak .
I'm thinking of combining the Chaos Dwarfs and Dwarfs into one video, along with the Beastmen and maybe Bretonnia, just to make things simpler and not have to sum up some factions in like 5 mins. I agree though they need to feel like a menace/ally to chaos
