I just upgraded to this one recently and was pleasantly surprised. I've had a great experience. Speakers are solid. great screen and battery life. fingerprint sensor placement is perfect. The only compromise is the camera, while not terrible you have to tweak settings alot to get the shots.
I take my note 10 pro off charge at 7 in the morning and by 10 at night still have 30%/40% battery life left with the 120hrz left on brilliant batter life 👍

Xioami are (in my opinion) superior to Apple. For the simple fact that they use Android and not iOS. God I cannot stand being trapped in that crappy ecosystem and was very glad to give up my iPhone collection. They sold fairly well lol.

Yeah that's a weird one. But it probably has to do with the fact that in the Samsung galaxy ecosystem the note was usually the larger of the variations of the same phone. But its also a bit of sneaky marketing to make it seem like its the equivalent of a Samsung galaxy note which of course it isn't..

To be honest the stock camera app is actually good enough. I tried gcam and except for the astrophotography mode where you have to be still for a long time (+-3 minutes) the stock camera app is more than adequate as it already has various night modes built in.

I had a LG G6 that had it's always on display on constantly. On one hand the Redmi note 10 saves battery with it not being on all the time. But I do get what you mean. It's supposed to come on when you pick up the phone or press the screen once.

Wow... I use to have a "GIF" button in the top right while watching videos in my gallery. It was my favorite feature to make gifs from my own videos. It was very simple and now this most recent update has taken it off. If you press create and try to use a video for a gif it says you cannot 🤬🤬

Honestly…the only explanation I could really think of, is that thee could be issues with an issue with the mic. It should be nice and clear. You shouldn’t be having issues like that. So I would say it’s probably a good idea to have someone look at it phone. Sorry I can’t be of much help with that one. Does seem very strange thoughI have to say 🤔

Hi Freda, totally missed your comment - sorry about that. Hmmm…that is strange! I know that software is different for different regions, but you should still be able to do most of these things. Have you tried a software update yet?
Exactly one year and four months after purchase xiaomi redmi note 10 pro, the phone stopped working completely. There was only one year warranty. It has been given to the dealer for repair. They advised that the motherboard should be reinstalled. The same money as the phone is going to fix the motherboard. Many people admit that this xiaomi phone has many technical flaws.

@@carsonbrindley7004 I used it until it was on 10% then charged it, when it was fully charged I let it stay there for 40min extra(but I don’t think it was necessary) I’m still using it now, battery lasts the entire day, if you are Not connected to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Off you can have a over 34-36 hours of use

I have only heard bad things about the MIUI 13 update. While others say there have no issues. But the bottomline is what exactly are you getting in the MIUI 13 update? I'm really not seeing any benefits that are worth the risk of updating when there is so little to gain and I'm getting this very sneaky suspicion that the updates themselves are a form of planned obselenscence, as it seems to slow down phones that while they are compatible just don't have the resources to make it run properly which is strangely what seems to happen to older Apple devices! And remember it's a pain to downgrade as well! So unless there are some serious bugs I wouldn't bother.
