That’s what I don’t get. Did they forget to change the barrier to detect orochimaru when he entered? Cause I get that he entered disguised as the kazekage but if orochimaru himself didn’t have access, the barrier should have picked him up. Which means he wouldn’t have been able to infiltrate the chunin exams and put the curse mark on sasuke or attack the hidden leaf village.
He probably planned it during the chuunin exams cause thats when it's much easier for foreign shinobi to enter during that time. The barrier doesn't detect exactly who enters, it just detects when someone foreign does I believe.
It wouldn't work. Besides the fact that most casinos wouldn't even let a hyuga in for fear of just such a thing happening, unless they pull a Toph, it'd be pretty obvious when they see all their eye veins.

Yep Curtis you got it. These rods send nagatos chakra to everyone they pierce. That´s how these corpses use their jutsu. they recieve chakra from the original pain. The recievers and Jirayas note "the real one is not among them" should make sense now. And that is the mean thing these recievers can be created by the rinnegan. everyone using the rinnegan can create them from thin air. and given they send the rinnegans chakra they can also be used to disturb the enemy´s chakra control as happened against jiraya. Actually they only work the way they do on the six paths of pain because they do not have any own chakra (they are simply corpses) but Pain has a limit of six corpses. he can split his six abilities onto these bodies and by that have six fighters instead of one. normally a bad move, but you´ll shortly see why he does that. he has a reason to do so. If he wasn´t forced to do so however he´d be borderline invincible.

Izuna Dara even with just the seventh gate unlocked he displayed powers far beyond sage mode jiraiya. None of the tendos can tank a single hit from him in that form and still survive, except for the telekinetic one, maybe, but even that one would go down eventually due to his weakness, which i wont spoil here.

I've always preferred the Hindu version of Pein's names. They always sounded more unique.
