Renkse, Nystrom, Norman brothers and Liljekvist = BEST lineup. Last Fair Deal Gone Down, Viva Emptiness, The Great Cold Distance and Night is the New Day are the peak of their discography.
I would've agreed a couple of weeks ago until I saw them a 4th time at a festival this summer, maybe it was because of the dark skies that set the mood but they really dlivered a solid sound and they just captured the feel of the studio sound that time.
agreed...and it's really too bad. i've seen them twice, and both times it was enjoyable yet disappointing. the first time it wasn't all their fault, as they were forced to change venues at the last minute and then the levels were totally off during the show. they clearly benefit from fantastic production that makes their hard edge more moody and their melodies more dynamic.
good music, lyrics are very annoying after listening to them for 5 songs in a row, it gets boring of listening and listening about the same , sadness . aaggh

definitely mine too...it's perfect. i prefer the viva emptiness version though.
i dont know how you can headbang or windmill to a slow song. doesn't make sense to me
@MisterStaub The drummer rushed the songs quite a bit throughout this whole performance.
That verse seems way to fast played... Loses a bit of atmosphere, but still is such a genius track.
