Sega was so ahead of the curve, they basically made the first gamepass with sega channel, one of the first to adopt CDs for their games with the sega CD, touch and stylus games with the Pico years before the DS, and even online gaming with the Dreamcast. Such a shame what happened.

As he scorched the factory with his weapon, Burner Ball." 2. Quake Woman: Geographical Research Robot "A Robot Master, who was the first robot created by Dr Laiande. Researches on the Quarries of the Phillapines, she was happy as can be, being cool with drilling, But after the side Effects kicked in, she went hysterical for all the wrong reasons. Damaging a village down her path with her weapon, Quake Drill." 3. Aponea Man: Brain Healing Robot "A robot built by dr light for personell with difficulties when sleeping, hes a guru, through & through, even when the side effect kicked in, hes still destroying a mall with a smile with his weapon, Memory Wave." 4. I feel like this should have been an ad-on/dlc to the legacy collection or in the options menu for an art style or music change for fans of the wily wars.
it's a beautiful looking game that captures the spirit of the original megaman perfectly, sadly the music leaves a lot to be desired and the constant slow down can bring the game experience a bit down. All in all, the original NES games still have something unique going for them
is it just me, or are these versions of the games much more difficult than the originals? i swear there's a lot of minor changes that make things a lot harder; larger/wonkier hitboxes, less damage dealt by the mega buster (especially for 1 and 2), different and somewhat more unpredictable boss patterns, etc etc. maybe it's just a me thing, would like to hear some thoughts on this since i never hear the difficulty of wily wars brought up too often.
Having just beaten both versions of this trilogy, the Wily Wars are way easier. Hitboxes that I found too big in the original were way more reasonable. There were fewer times when I felt I had to tank damage.

the NES certainly has a special Vibe, but what I dont like about it is the lack of enough customization options to alter the waveforms. Practically every NES game has the same kind of "instruments". The Genesis' Yamaha Chip or the C64's SID offered waymore variaty
I have always liked the graphical update of this version I mean that's why I own it. but honestly with all the little changes they made this is the lesser versions of the original 3 games imo. The only real reason to play it is for wilys tower

You need a romhack fix for this one. Im not entirely sure but I think it's because this game was only released in the US as a Sega Channel download onto a so callrd Eeprom Cartridge. Wily Wars is the only game that "knew" that and could therefore use that to save data. This doesnt work in emulation though. And thats why you need either a Romhack or a Hex code.

There's a guy doing it, search for "mega Man the sequel wars" on yt, you should find he's channel quickly, there are some demos and updates, it's an incredible homebrew! Go and see it!

Maybe it's the fact I never owned a Sega so my brain is hard wired to like the original Nintendo music? Edit: after hearing Willys theme. Is the music playing slower than the original Nintendo versions? I feel like the tempo was faster on the original games?

It shouldn't. It's not the PAL version. It's the one that was released on the Genesis Mini. A rerelease of the Sega Channel US version.

Yeah it does suffer from it and the game is just slower over all then the nes versions. That being said the nes version was not free of slowdown
