Yeah, yeah, yeah Paul. Tommy and Eric are way better musicians than Ace and Peter. They are way more stable and reliable than Ace and Peter. Still, they still ain't Ace and Peter. The Catman is Peter Criss. The Spaceman is Ace Frehley.

Paul makes no sense here. He has said in the past that vinnie came up with the ankh and Paul not know “what that was about.” Here Paul takes credit for the name Vinnie VINCENT but then later says Vinnie was inspired by the Ozzy Osbourn and Mitch Mitchell naming structures.
When Paul said "Vinnie Vincent was inspired by...." He didn't mean the person. The NAME "Vinnie Vincent" was inspired by... He could have said "I was inspired..." But he avoids to say "I" because of Gene.

Obviously Vinnie was a good song writer and guitar player but, I never liked the way he played on those original Kiss songs. Certainly, he had to on Detroit Rock City and Shout it Out Loud but, Those solos on Firehouse, I Want You and Dr Love were unrecognizable. Kiss hit the stage like they were hungry on that tour. Great show in Jan 1983, Chattanooga Tn. I loved Creatures Of The Night.
excuse me, but paul doesnt know shit from a fans perspective at all.. Vinnie was waaay better than Kulick- in many ways. They put up with Ace n Peters bs for years but couldnt deal with V V??? They dont know shit
But some fans don't know a "shit", either! Peter and Ace were EQUAL partner. You could not fire them. Vinnie was newcomer, employee. Peter and Ace were famous. Vinnie was still a Nobody. Simply watch the Expo talks with Vinnie ("I was in my own world", I was such a jerk", " I took too much stuff! "etc.). Obviously nobody could deal with Vinnie!
Sorry, I just found your mail today. But it's never too late. Peter and Vinnie are two completely different worlds. Paul and Gene were forced to deal with Peter. He was an equal partner. There was nothing, nothing they could do! Because, to fire a co-owner they needed absolute majority. But Paul and Gene were alone! No one knows why Ace changed his mind. He wouldn't tell you. I guess he wanted money💲Why else should Ace vote against his 🥃💉buddy? Still in an interview in 1988 Peter was furious and called Ace a "traitor". Then, when three members were against Peter, Bill Aucoin voted against him too. This was the absolute majority. And Peter had to go. (But he still had a contract until 1987). You see how privileged Peter was. But what had Vinnie? He was not even an employee. Paul could "fire" him whenever he wanted. You asked, how could P/G put up with A/P, but not with Vinnie? It's their status. It's also very interesting what Bill Aucoin said at an Expo. "Vinnie was very paranoid. But it was a different manifestation THAN PETER'S". Do you see what that means? Paul and Gene had more difficulties with Vinnie than with Peter. Because Peter was only "paranoid". But Vinnie was even "very paranoid". Bill Aucoin as the "employer" had most likely contact and information from the health insurance and had to pay the bills. I was not there. But it's what you hear in interviews or read in their books. Besides, my favourite Vinnie (co-written) song is "I Just Wanna". It rocks.
You booked a tour without having a guitar player? Because you said you needed money? Why would you book a tour if you don't have a permanent replacement? And how was it that you needed " money" ? @nnaeus20 Thats what you think In his page and group , he proclaims himself as the warrior, and there is nothing that can be done about it, You can't want to know more than the artist himself
@@AllanJonesband Vinnie's official character name was The Wizard. Or "Wiz" for short. Wiz was meant to be similar to Ace, just like The Fox was similar to The Cat. Legally, Vinnie can *not* ever refer to himself as The Wizard or Wiz outside of the band. It was written in the KISS contract that he signed.
Stan Lee woulda been annoyed at "Mick Fury"
Now that I think about it, it's actually a good thing they didn't go with Mick Furey. That does sound like one of those old comic book ads where all you have to do is send in $1.95 and you'll be transformed from a ninety seven pound weakling getting sand kicked in his face at the beach by the local bully into a real man overnight.
Stan Lee's dead
Eric's makeup was great and would have grown in importance if they hadn't removed the makeup 2-3 years after he started wearing it. And the 2 records Vinnie was on, and co-wrote quite a bit of, were among the best Kiss ever released.
my first concert was KISS "Creatures of the Night" tour. think I was 10 or 11. my dad took me. this was before internet obviously so it was to my shock and surprise when Vinnie came out on stage instead of Ace. it shocked me and was thinking who the hell is this guy? it was so damn good. dad bought me a Creatures Tour shirt and years later a friend of mine really wanted to wear it to school and unfortunately that day after school he got into a fight with a punk rocker/skater dude who hated Kiss and literally tour it off him that day. I managed to pick up the pieces and cut out the design and lost it somewhere along my life. total bummer. Kiss has been an extremely influencial force and I have so much stuff from this band but I gotta say now at 51 it makes my stomach turn when I hear Paul and Gene shred Ace and Peter especially Paul even shredding on Eric Carr. we dont want to hear all that. its really making me turn away from this band and let it all go. then I think how? literally either their image and/or music / videos have been in my life every single day for as long as I can remember. I cant beleive its over
You can't believe everything Gene and Paul say it's obvious they love to Bulls@!! the fans like they did with Ace & Peter i think V.V refused to sign on the dotted line so that they could have full control of him and the character V.V brought a faster pace and fresh music which i don't think Gene and Paul could handle
Paul and Gene sure do think they’re some how important outside of the band. No one cares. We as fans simply want to hear the music not drama
I agree. Paul and Gene, especially Paul is under some stupid impression that regarding the original KISS members, the fans wanted to see a concert featuring the Starchild, the Demon, the Catman, and the Spaceman. Wrong, Paul. Wrong, wrong, wrong. When we went to see KISS, we were there to watch Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Peter Criss, and Ace Frehley. It doesn't get any simpler than that.
@@stanleybroniszewsky8538
You are maybe too simple.
I want to see KISS 🎭.
Not the private persons.
When I watch "King Lear"
I want to see "King Lear".
Not the actor John Miller!
@brentlohr3394
"Music. Not drama"?
Do you know in how many languages Paul's book was translated? I can do both. Listen to the 🎶 music. Then read their "drama" 📖. It's informative.
Sad part is Paul & Gene (like before Ace & Peter showed up) we’re literally dead in the water before that nutcase Vinnie showed up. And I despise Vinnie but I’ll give credit to him
The Ank symbol.😂
Paul makes no sense here. He has said in the past that vinnie came up with the ankh and Paul not know “what that was about.” Here Paul takes credit for the name Vinnie VINCENT but then later says Vinnie was inspired by the Ozzy Osbourn and Mitch Mitchell naming structures.
Vinnie has always said that Paul came up with the design and that he didn’t come up with the name himself.
When Paul said "Vinnie Vincent was inspired by...." He didn't mean the person. The NAME "Vinnie Vincent" was inspired by...
He could have said
"I was inspired..." But he avoids to say "I" because of Gene.
Not Ace..... put Stanley in the corner as well as Chiam or however its spelled... vinnie looks like my aunt Sophia. Enjoy what you can't take with you... put you on something as a pedestal when you were real.. what's the root of all evil sir? Just the stumbling in your testimonial response to simple questions??? Wtf ? True to your bank account, buy a blade for at least fan.
.. I'm sure you have enough $.
Chaim Witz🤑
Vinnie is a genius.
They were literally hungry during that tour...
Eric and VV'S MAKE UP MEANS AS MUCH TO ME AS DUMBASS OETER CRISS AND I HAVE BEEN ARMY SINCE 76
Vinnie Cusano sounds more like a rock 'n' roll name to me than Eric Carr. Paul Caravello is a better rock 'n' roll name than Eric Carr.
excuse me, but paul doesnt know shit from a fans perspective at all..
@@HappyMachorino-bd8no ok, fair enough.
But Peter was fired.
It rocks.
Vinnie Vincent doesn't make sense. His first name would have to be Vincent also. Vinnie is just the short form, like using Bob for Robert.
Paul's recollections seem meandering and "new." Wahi' Valleys
Come on Paul just admit you used him
I loved Kiss But not 1/2. Kiss
Translation they did for the money.
U WANTED THE FAKEST U GOT THE FAKEST !!!
4 🌈 Gews
His make up was a terrible design
Vinnie wrote all the songs
You booked a tour without having a guitar player? Because you said you needed money? Why would you book a tour if you don't have a permanent replacement? And how was it that you needed " money" ? Question.Why.were you broke after the first 10 KISS tours? Listen to how he stutters in between answers ..These guys are so full of crap it's not even funny.
Very bad character
