TechnoBabble I bought the Klipsch Sixes and they "are amazing" speakers especially at high volumes. Now I have the 400 Klipsch soundbar coming in four days. After this review I can't wait!!
These speakers sounded so good I had to upgrade my basement sound system too. Before this I had a Sony HT-NT5 with was pushed in soft dome tweeters for my living room and a damson s series 5.1.2 surround sound speaker in a box system for my home theater. The cinema 400 just blew me away.
@@airjocone9398 there really is no such thing as a one size fits all. It works for the room that I have it in if you have a larger room you're going to want a larger subwoofer because there's going to be more air to move. For my tiny family room it's perfectly fine but in my dedicated theater room I might run a 12-in.
Okay very entertaining and informative. But I can tell you firsthand hearing it. This soundbar is kick ass. I don't know if I'd recommend it in a big room. I don't know if I would recommend it bigger than 55 in. But what I do know, in front of my 55 in Sony x90j. This sounds bar looks and sounds awesome. My friends begged me to watch movies on it. And that is priceless...
Cool thing about this 400 is that it has a sub out on the back of the sound bar so you can add another subwoofer. Then you can connect a center speaker. Boom you got a kick ass system. 👍👍

I bought the cinema 400 !, to start in the world of bars and not spend so much money! and I am not disappointed! the sub sounds very loud very powerful and the overall sound clarity is excellent! even for music and dialogues in movies! . I detected that when you start a playback, first the bar sounds and after a second the sub sounds, I thought it was a failure or possible latency of the wireless system, watching your video again, I see that it is a latency of the bar since you too You noticed it in your bar and it leaves me calmer. Did you test if the cinema 600 has the same latency of 1 second when you start a playback? . Another note that we can offer: it has an AUTOMATIC POWER-OFF in 15 minutes without receiving a sound signal. In the manual they do not inform it and at the moment there is no way to desactivate it. Rare that they do not report it, as many people may think that it is a failure of the bar without knowing. Thanks for all!
Congrats on taking the plunge! Yeah the 600 also has the same thing where it takes just a sec for the sub to kick in... Its just the nature of wireless subs... Not just with klipsch... Yeah the auto shut down is also intentional and as far as I know can't be changed :(
I just got my 400 today via Fedex. I haven't had a chance to pull it out of the box but going by this review it looks like I'll be very pleased with the performance. Great review by the way.
@@SlayerHawkX The base speaker is blutooth so that made it super convenient for relocating in more ideal area of the room. The system overall has an impressive sound for watching movies or playing music via blutooth from a phone, ect. I'm very pleased with it
If you get the sound bar 400 it sounds so much better in a small bedroom and the bass and the sound are so good so the sound bar is worth the buy I think it's good for any room
Sorry, newbie question - Can I just ask - what happens if you have a soundbar hooked up to your TV (via HDMI arc let's say) but you decide that you just want to hear the audio out of the TV's speakers? Would you just not power on the soundbar? Thanks

@@christianbonnet3822 I would say the 400 is good enough... But the Klipsch Cinema 600 does a MUCH better job with dialogue... I did a review of that as well you should check it out!
Downward facing drivers for subwoofers are perfect for wooden or concrete floors. The size of it is absolutely ludicrous haha. I like some of those creature comfort features like the LED button and the independent control of the Subwoofer and Soundbar.

Mine does a weird thing where the dialog sounds like someones blowing extra air into their mic...i think its the subwoofer being too high but to me that shouldnt b a problem...im not an pro nor kno about it deeply..just feel it shouldn't matter the volune of it woofer....i like massive explosions lol.

Hi! Yes these products are sent over by the brand for review. When I just started out i reviewed products that I had purchased on my own and once i had a few good review videos to showcase the quality of my review videos, I reached out to brands.. it takes time and a lot of effort but if this is really what you want to do then just keep working hard :)
@@rushajeraan1715 yeah.. There's always going to be a ton of soundbar that will sound good.. And even then, "sounding good" can be relative because different people prefer different sound profiles. I hope you have the chance to listen to them first hand before making a decision!

I actually reviewed that so you can check that video out! In terms of Comparison I think the sharp sounds slightly better although the Klipsch has a better sub in my opinion... But Sharp supports Dolby armos whereas the Klipsch does not

My children bought this for me for my birthday. I was very disappointed in the sound. My Samsung Surround Sound System sounded much better. It blew up in 2 years though. Hopefully the person that setup my Klipsch 400 set it up wrong. My tv speakers are louder

Cool thing about this 400 is that it has a sub out on the back of the sound bar so you can add another subwoofer. Then you can connect a center speaker. Boom you got a kick ass system. 👍👍

I hooked up 2 bookshelf speakers to the optical out connection on the back of the tv. They are like having a center speaker. Sounds good.

Hey, would you still recommend this sound bar over similarly priced options from Sony or Yamaha? I shop at Costco, and they have this for $225.
Honestly I can't say as I haven't had the chance to test out any soundbars for awhile...

No worries! Yup just switch the soundbar off and the TV should just automatically play the audio from the TV speakers :)

You read that wrong. It's for TV's 42" and up. I have a 65" and don't find the sound field too narrow.

Honestly I'm pretty sure you can't add a wired subwoofer.. But its been awhile since I tested this so maybe they added this feature later on.

Well it's mostly spacial surround.. Whether u hear it behind really depends on your walls....

They are good soundbars until they stop powering on/ bluetooth goes bad / etc.. they will def fail
