This is a really good remix! It makes me imagine a storyline in a hypothetical third version where the main antagonist frees the Quartet. This would probably play in a cutscene showing them wreaking havoc around the region at the story's climax, similar to the scene where all the Ultra Beasts show up in gen 7. The dex says that Chi-Yu can swim through sand and rock leaving behind a sea of lava, it could be interesting to see that in action.

I feel like there are multiple inspirations on this theme: Middle Eastern, Eastern, plus some melodies from other Scarlett and Violet battle music.
I can easily imagine this in a pokemon celebrations or evolutions type thing for a animation about their origin

Okay, hear me out here.
We know that kalos was in a war.
We know that paldea was involved in that war.
We can connect to dots to see that the power created by the ultra dimension used in the great weapon of kalos was fired into paldea, causing a giant crater and power inducing crystals to form inside.
Knowing that the weapon caused the war to end, it can be assumed that paldea was the bad guys in the war and lost.
This is where the ruinous Pokémon come in. many of the legendaries here are based off of Chinese tradition, being physical manifestations of the power of wealth (Chi-Yu), warmongering (Chien-pao), propaganda (wo-chien), and tradition (ting-Lu).
What if the legendaries had a serious influence on the war, such as they were the being that started the war with kalos, all because humans were persuaded by them to start the war, just so the Pokémon could ruin paldea and get more power.
This would also explain why they were locked away. After the war, humans must have realized that the Pokémon could destroy countless civilizations, and have done so in the past.
Perhaps also the teal mask DLC could explain how the ruinous Pokémon got locked up in the first place, as it is set around a Japanese tale about a hero.
Just a though. Give it some thought.
The best way I can describe my feelings for this remix is the one tweet or tumblr post or whatever the fuck that's like "No stop memorizing my attack patterns fuck you" followed up with "Alright that's it hope you like the choir part in my second phase"
If THIS started playing after I fought the treaures of ruin, I'd probably just quit the game in fear of my life
